Manchester United became favorites for this season's title after thrashing Chelsea 3 - 0 on Sunday. The Red Devils are currently 5 points behind table toppers Liverpool and a point behind Chelsea.  .  .a win against Wigan will put them 2 points above Chelsea and 2 points behind Liverpool with one game in hand still. Pretty comfy position if you ask me.  .  .little wonder Rafa Benitez has gone on an anti-United rampage
A draw however will level them with Chelsea, though Chelsea will remain above on GD.  .  .and 3 points behind Liverpool. A loss,though unlikely, will keep things as they presently are.

United will be missing Patrice Evra who is out for 3 weeks following a foot injury sustained during the game against Chelsea. Rio Ferdinand will be missing too,as he is out for a week while he recovers from his back spasms. Guess Sir Alex will have a lot to do restructuring his back 4. Gary and O'Shea may not put up brilliant performances against the relatively young Wigan side as they did against Chelsea.

Wigan Athletic are currently 7th on the table. They defeated Spurs in their last Prem game with a late winner, and are on the brink of completing a move that will see Huga Rodallega, a Colombian International striker make his way to the JJB. A draw will do just fine for them at OT, though of course they will be looking to win.
