1. Habedi got the name Flabba after hearing his grandmother using the word flabbergasted once.

2. He hails from Alexandra also known as Gomora a township located in Gauteng province, South Africa.

3. The group consists of Infa, Nish, Shugasmakx, Flabba, Nemza, Slikour, Bozza. Umoya, which was in their album Mkhukhu Funkshen, became a hip-hop anthem in South Africa in 2003.

4. He was one of the seven members of Skwatta Kamp which ruled the hip hop scene in the early 2000s.

5. Flabba went on to record solo albums.

6. He won a South African Music Award for Best Rap in 2007.
