Fashion and style change day-to-day but the universal fashion do's and don't's can be agreed by most experts. Having your own fashion sense, being a pioneer of fabulous trends and rocking your own looks are all great ideas.

But you must remember not to make these top 10 fashion mistakes or you just might find yourself in the wrong side of the law... of fashion;

1. Leggings as Pants



Okay, we get it, those fab leggings are just oh-so-very comfortable, but we really don’t need to be regaled with the vision of your backside in them. Leggings are made to be worn under tunics or short dresses that you aren’t comfy wearing alone; they should not be worn with tops, no matter how great you think your curves look. Spare us the horror; it isn’t a good look on ANYONE.

2. Muffin Top



This is simply when your pants/jeans/skirts are so tight that the extra poundage in your tummy is spilling over, looking sort of like a muffin, hence the term. Why, oh Why would you want to look like a stuffed sausage in your outfits? Try to get appropriate sized outfits and this can be avoided.

3. Tracksuits off the Track



They are called TRACK SUITS for a reason. I just can’t imagine any occasion that would call for you to put on your tracksuits-no matter how comfy they feel- except on the track.

4. Overdosing on accessories



the thing is, we want people to see you and go WOW, not hear you even before you enter the room with all the unsavory sounds that comes with wearing too much jewelry. Rings, a necklace, a bracelet, and earrings are just too much. Yeah, every girl loves her ice, but not certainly so much that all the noise is just plain distracting. When in doubt, follow Coco Chanel’s advice: Before you leave the house, take something off.

5. Matching Overkill



Here I’m talking, pink shoes, pink bag, pink top, pink hair accessories… you get the idea. Now this is just plain tacky. It one of the common fashion mistakes to avoid at all cost. Just because you have all these in the same color does not mean you have to show them all off at once. Try toning it down a little by mixing different shades of the same color, you don’t want to look like some cartoon character.

6. Peeping Thongs



I am absolutely sure no one thinks this is sexy. And sadly, this happens to a lot of us. They are called UNDERwear for a reason. They should be under you outfits and not seen through them one way or the other. So, if you want to wear low rise jeans, please have the low rise underwear to match.

7. Wearing clothes that you are not comfortable in



Trust me, it shows when you are trying to walk in 6 inch heels that you don’t feel comfy in, or squeezing yourself into a too-tight top that it hurts every time you breathe. Save yourself the agony, get clothes that makes you look and feel amazing.
