I have heard some known and intelligent men of God say Christians are not the Redeemed but the Fruit of Redemption.. What about this verses below? A concerned Brother or sister should explain...

*[[Gal 3:13]] KJV* Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

As long as there is a 'redeem' in the sentence, its all good!

We are the fruits of redemption. We are the result of the resurrected Christ.

Studying carefully,its true we are the fruit of redemption. From 1pet 1, u ll noticed peter wrote specifically to the jewish christians. The jews were actualy the ones redeemed. Redeemed from what? The curse of the law,which paul in Gal 3 pointed out. The law was never given to the gentiles. In paul's assertion u ll noticed in the next verse he stated; that the blessing of abraham might come on the gentiles not the jews. Bottomline,wether redeemed or fruit of redemption,we ve all come to the faith. Its only an issue of knowledge. Thanks!

But the Galatians Church are not Jews they are Gentiles.. And Paul was telling them this.. Or was he referring to the Jews in Galatians

I've heard that saying too, but its not true. We are the redeemed.

Its not only jews or those given the law that are the redeemed. Everyone saved by grace through faith in Christ is the redeemed of the Lord. Everyone who is born again through faith in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus and the shedding of His blood is the redeemed.

Rev 5v9 -And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and HAST REDEEMED US to God by thy blood out of EVERY kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

This verse clearly qualifies believers as the ones redeemed, not just as fruits of it. And it also shows that these redeemed believers are from every kindred, tongue, people and nation, not jews only.

That makes every born again christian a redeemed of the Lord. Jews and Gentiles -from every tribe and nation.
