What matters here is the motivation. Write a good character who does something important in your story. If they happen to turn out gay on the way, great. Don't do it the other way - deliberately trying to write a gay character purely for the sake of having a gay character is the worst sort of pandering.

Right off the bat: What the Bleep does "abnormal" mean? Are you appealing to the paranormal? Are you saying gays are ghosts? Demons?

Unless you are implying that homosexuality is somehow caused by forces outside of the natural universe, then you are going to have to accept that everything that happens within this ball of mass is perfectly natural. If it wasn't, then it wouldn't happen as "abnormal things" things are, by definition, impossible.

Then again I'm guessing this will also fly over your head and you don't know a lot of biology either.

I stumbled on this and thought it was very interesting. It doesn't really sell me. I think it's pretty well accepted that Hulk is stronger - particularly since his strength increases when he gets angry - but the author put in an impressive amount of research and it's certainly an interesting read for anyone into the FF:
