More evidence of your cluelessness...let me dumb it down for you simpleton

In layman's terms:- you can't make a claim of one actor being better than another based on just one project, you have to judge them on different projects

but can you understand this still?

Nah grin grin

I don't need to name anything, it's obvious...only the fact that Cavil has been in more blockbusters despite them being the same age should tell you

Surely this matter cannot be settled until someone does an exhaustive comparison of both Cox's and Cavill's appearance. Like all appearances. Both on the big screen and on the small screen. Anybody want to give it a try?

Cox is probably the rangier actor. Cavill is probably the more charismatic/marketable, which is why he's had more shots at iconic roles and more financial success.

Case closed.

Finally someone sensible with a good Idea...i still stay on Cavill as the more rangier(like you put it) of the two

Because, Cox has only been portrayed majorly in one light :- Charming and Helpless but intelligent..check most of his roles unlike Cavill

New kids on the block read the stories and now they desperately want a taste of the old action by any means necessary...I indulged them a little bit but I'm done encouraging them

so I was thinking. If disney+ was a thing sooner, how it would have changed the MCU. A great option would be the Hawkeye series taking effect during the snap. So we get to see how the Earth is handling missing half it’s population and Clint darks transformation from Hawkeye to Ronin.

It could have been good smiley
Could have been good. But I still think Disney and Marvel should have shown more spine and set all of Phase 4 during the 5 year snap and put Endgame at the end of Phase 4. They could have had a Hawkeye film in the vein of Logan. And a smaller scale Black Widow film with Natasha having to pick up the pieces and operate in a world with mostly failed governments. It would have been an opportunity to do darker and more intimate character oriented films for a few years.

The problem with that approach is the availability of the principle actors. Having Chris Evans and RDJ in Endgame takes precedence.

i don’t think we need all of phase 4 but maybe 1 or 2 movies would be good. Black Widows movie does make sense. Shang-Chi could of worked easily. Could do Hawkeyes transformation in either movie.

Evans and RDJ were out. Ruffalo is out because they can't do a strictly Hulk movie.

And the way that the snap happened, it appeared that on Earth specifically, outside the small cells that Hawkeye dealt with, it didn't appear that there were any "Avenger" level threats which is why Cap is working as a counselor and Tony is building a family.

Thor, yeah based on where they pick up his story would I think be alter his arc through the rest of Endgame.

Which leaves Hawkeye and Natasha.

Problem with a Hawkeye film is that it'd really just be strictly a Hawkeye film as it didn't appear that Natasha or anyone else had any contact with him during the snap. And it's not like he can get some sort of hopeful ending as even in his last mission as Ronin, he wasn't expecting Natasha being there. The only way I could see it work, as if they intercut his life during the snap with his life after it with people seeking revenge against him.

Sure you could have done a minor Black Widow mission BUT it seemed like she ran point at a practically empty Avengers facility for the remainder of the heroes but again to my point about Cap and Tony that I don't think there were any real Avenger threats on Earth during that time period.

I'm mixed on First Class but agree on Days of Future's Past being on that high level.

Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix are meh though
