True that. You've probably heard Joss Whedon(AoU director) was bullied off twitter for his apparently "sexist" depiction of Black Widow.

http://www.flickeringmyth.com/2015/06/top-5-marvel-movie-fan-theories-ranked.html

Of all the theories it seems that the most likely is that Loki is working for Thanos. Afterall Loki got the Sceptre/Mind Stone from Thanos' right hand man in the Avengers and Loki now rules in Asgard.
What i can't figure out is this...Who is Star-Lord's father?

I barely read comics as a kid, and I don't have any inclination to them anymore. I know some people here are really into comics.

So I was wondering if there's a comic about the upcoming Ant-Man film? If so, how good is it? Does it make sense? Is it entertaining and exciting?
The name sounds weird to me, and it doesn't cause any curioisty or zeal in me to see the movie.
It kinda reminds me of that Sandman character in Spiderman III (staring Tobey Maguire). I always thought that was a really silly character.
And now Ant-man? Ants? Really?
I know I'll still watch it, as it's part of the MCU that I love, but still...

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

This is me exactly. I didn't read comics and can't read them anymore but ant man sounds lame.

But I will still watch it because it's marvel.

A leaked Spiderman licensing agreement has revealed the restrictions Marvel has placed on the potrayal of the character.
So no Miles Morales folks, too bad. Now we now Peter Parker has to be dull and boring. Perfect! . undecided.

Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe by dontemi(m): 10:41pm On Jun 21, 2015
It's actually the same description with previous Spiderman versions so it's all good. I believe Marvel can pull Peter Parker / Spiderman off excellently well

What if Marvel had decided to make him gay?
That'd have been a disaster lipsrsealed

Agreed, the terms all seem reasonable. Just disappointed they're not diversifying with black/latino characters

Finally! Spiderman has been cast and he's Tom Holland! The official statement reads " Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are proud to announce that after a full
worldwide casting search, Tom Holland will play Peter Parker/Spider-Man in
the next Spider-Man film, in theaters in IMAX and 3D on July 28, 2017. The
film will be directed by Jon Watts, director of "Cop Car," the upcoming
thriller that made its debut earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival.“Sony, Marvel, Kevin and I all knew that for Peter
Parker, we had to find a vibrant, talented young actor capable of
embodying one of the most well-known characters in the world. With
Tom, we’ve found the perfect actor to bring Spider-Man’s story into the
Marvel Cinematic Universe.”"
For those who don't know a lot about him like me, Tom acted a lead role in The Impossible. He's 19, cute, and recently posted some videos on his instagram account showing off his acrobatic skills, here's a link

It's weird for me, I'll forever see him as the teenage vampire from an episode of Being Human (and the short spin-off).

EDIT: Bloody hell! I'm confusing my British actors, he looked like that guy for a second...I was thinking of the Welsh actor, Craig Roberts. We'll blame old age and phone, even though the alarm bells should have rang/rung* at 19 years old...

*Damn you English language.

Lol that's original-bitten by a Spider-Vampire hybrid....eesh forget it. Was he a good vamp though? Or one of those that sacrificial fodder types.
