The mysterious photo
When I was a kid, my best friend and I were looking at old photos in his house. There was one of a family wedding, a group shot outside our local church. One of the men in the photo had no legs. Not like, was in a wheelchair or anything, but literally in the photo, his legs just stopped at the knee and you could see the huge old slabs of the church — they even matched perfectly with the slabs that were on either side. It was exactly the same as if you were looking at a photo and looked at the wall above his head, rather than below his knees.
Now, I can't blame digital trickery as this photo was WAY too old for that (70s, maybe?). Maybe someone with a working knowledge of photography could explain it.
The weird thing is that the guy in the photo (my friend's uncle) ended up with diabetes and had both legs amputated at the knee years later.

A friend of mine once told me a scary story. While studying at unn, one early morning, he was walking along a lonely path towards hill top gate, suddenly three vultures flew down from a tree and blocked his way. he was scared, try throwing stones at them but they didn't even flinch, he was scared and ran away, since that day he started hearing voices until he went for deliverance.

OMG I remember a story this one girl told me about a guy she met at the casino, a place called Montecasino around Johannesburg. She & her friends were out having drinks at the casino bar when this guy walked up to them & offered to buy them even more drinks. He was attracted to her I guess, so he gave her friends a huge sum of money to go gamble at the tables, to give him more privacy with her I presume.

She said they clicked so well. Plus he was generous with them the whole time, so when he invited her to his house by the end of the evening, she readily accepted. Anyway, they went to the parking lot & the guy told her to wait outside, as he was busy having what she thought was a phone conversation with someone inside his car. She said he seemed to be arguing with whomever he was speaking with because he was busy making angry hand gestures, but she couldn't hear what he was saying. He finished the conversation, summoned her in & they started driving to his home. The girl said she noticed that there was a huge, green fly circling & buzzing around his head & his reaction to it seemed odd because he said something like, "Ey, voetsek wena maan!". Which basically means piss off. The conversation with the fly continued until they reached their destination, by this time she said she was a little scared of him because what creep talks to a fly! LOL!

She said he lived in a beautiful house, in some smanchsy pansy, leafy suburb uptown Jozi. She said she didn't even get the chance to enjoy the scenery before shyt got really real, with homeboy arguing not only with his pet fly (aka bodyguard. LOL! ) but the door as well! He was saying something along the lines of "Open sesame" (not really "open sesame" but I'm sure you get my point) because the house door was refusing to open with the key & he was now pleading with it. LOL!

The girl said she slowly backed away, was ready to run when she felt like the whole ground was vibrating & a deep voice coming from within the house or maybe it was the house itself, told the guy, "How many times have I told you not to bring girls into the house!?". At this point she said she lost it, doesn't even know how she managed to to jump over the wall but she did. She was so afraid, she was even starting to question her own sanity with all the crap she had experienced with Richie Rich.

The guy, we believe, must have been one of those people who use black magic to get rich & in return, get possessive spirits that refuse to let them live a normal life. Sigh. Things people do for money.

[b]Let me quickly share mine.
This happened sometime last year, I was driving a total of 15 passengers from Ondo to Lagos State through the Benin Ore road. In an effort to "beat the time", I was accelerating at 5m/s2. 0ne hour into the journey, we were moving with velocity of 180m/s [no exaggeration]. Suddenly, fraction of the passengers echoed "driver, no kan kill us ooh, abeg slow down", I was turning a deaf hear to their pleas. On getting to junction before that junction on the junction road, there pleas was creating nuisance to my hearing, I replied, "nothing will happen, can't you see the sticker, Holy Ghost is with us on the journey". Thier voices died down, some minutes later (moving with velocity of 300m/s), 2/3rd of the passengers were practically on my head shouting and screaming, "we wan come down oooh, we get pikin, we get wife, we get husband, we get mama, we get papa", this continued for 12mins 5secs until an Ibo man with thick igbo accent interfered by saying, "biko nu drafer, leti yo boder and cter cum down nu, dem tu de fear", I was annoyed (understatement) by the passegers, on stopping the bus, I commanded down from the bus, after all is done, I continued the journey with the 5 passengers. On getting to Shagamu, another screaming and shouting ressurected [the bus was "just" moving with velocity of 500m/s], "we too wan come down o, we no wan die, we get papa, mama, iyawo, family". The annoying part was when one hausa man screamed and yelled, "dangoroba shega, kai fa, u wan kill me abi? Shey I dey craze ni? If u no stop here, I shuka for dagger", I had no choice but to stop by the "Almighty dagger". On stopping, they all came down, a busty woman was about to board the bus (I assumed she was on her way to Lagos), one of the passenger who was a yoruba blocked her road and warned her that, "ti o ba fe ku, o ni gu moto yi, ti e ba se olori buruku, e ni wole, ti e ba fe ki won sukun yi, e ni wo le", when I noticed she was taking too long to board, I "zoomed" off. On getting to Berger, I was at rest, no noise, no scream, no voice, no nothing, I was now moving in 700m/s. Then the "scariest" of all happened, I was practically listening to arguments in my bus but I was pondering the source, the arguments was, tell am na, no tell am na, tell am na, no tell am na, all of a sudden some voices started screaming, "we too wan come down ooh, we too wan come down ooh, no kan kill us", in a trebling voice I asked, who are you?, they echoed, "we are the Holy Ghost protecting the bus, we too wan come down oo, we no wan down".
Note: Believe the story at your own peril.
