We have to also praise the Gallantry displayed by our Mobile Police Force, MOPOL in the North East as we also praise our ever faithful, gallant soldiers. The jubilant MOPOL men are part of those currently occupying Gujba. Following the liberation of Gujba,more MOPOL men were sent in to man the area while the military continued their push towards Gonori, the last BH-controlled town in Yobe State which was also liberated yesterday.
We would like to specially acknowledge the gallantry of MOPOL 41 Squadron, Damaturu, a unit which is top-heavy with really brave guys
armed with just AK-47 rifles.[/b

Similarly MOPOL 6 Squadron in
Maiduguri and MOPOL 52 Squadron Bama deserve acknowledgment.
Concerning visiting MOPOL units, MOPOL 8 Squadron, JOS and MOPOL 27 Squadron Kastina have all on
different occasions exhibited gallantry in the face of grave danger.
Since the start of this insurgency, MOPOL 41 Squadron DAMATURU have lost their Commander while MOPOL 6 Squadron in Maiduguri have lost their 2ic. May their souls rest in perfect peace.
