ACTUALIZATION CONCEPTS
Excerpts from my conversation with a friend; thought it would bless you too:
1. VISION: Where you are going or rather a picture of your preferable (or divine) future.
2. DIRECTION: How you would get there in the most effective way- steps, stages and processes.
3. CAPACITY BUILDING: Acquiring what you need to make it there- Preparations; procurement; training; mentoring, etc
Now about VISION:
1. WRITE: Any vision yet to be written is still a vague idea.
2. CLARITY: How much of the details about your vision do u have now?
3. TIMING: when is the vision supposed to start speaking?
4. RUNNERS: Every vision requires runners. As a man or woman of vision, you need to choose your friends and associates carefully and purposefully- not vision killers but runners and helpers.
5. Of course PRAYER/ARMOUR: Anything you can conceive is a possibility. The enemy fights any and every vision that is from God, so we do not relent.
About DIRECTION
1. ASK: Ask God in prayers about the way to go. Ask your mentors and those who have gone ahead of you about How to get there. The problem with a fool is not What but How.
2. FIND: Find out what it takes, discover the processes involved. Some would be clearly obvious while some others would require some search and research. Don't give up until you find how to do it, even if you fail at it sometimes.
3.TAKE: Take seriously little information that you get about your area of vision. Cease your God-given opportunities.
Concerning CAPACITY BUILDING
1. BE DELIBERATE: Do not be passive about your vision, don't just hope that one day it would come to pass; rather get involved.
2. RESPONSIBILITY: Don't be lazy about it. Once you've found out what to do, viz a viz people to meet, books to read, courses to take and so on, DO IT.
3. PASSION: If you do not have a passion for it, you cannot pass it on. Let your drive be strong enough to pull others along with you. Usually many people follow their leaders, not because of the vision but the passion they see in him/her; sometimes they don't even know what their leader's vision is, but, they can always feel his/her passion for it. Your passion is first visible before your vision. But as a leader, learn to communicate the two.
4. KEEP TRACK & CELEBRATE
Do not despise your day of little beginning but celebrate the little successes that you record in the path of your vision and then move on. I encourage you to keep track of the events of your life today because they'll remind you of where you've been, in the future.
See you at the top.
_PEACE!
