Video has garnered over 17 million views on the late night host’s official YouTube channel Within 24 hours of its upload, President Barack Obama’s edition of Jimmy Kimmel’s popular “Mean Tweets” segment became the most watched video of the series, ABC announced Monday.
The video hit over 10 million views within the first 24 hours of posting to the Jimmy Kimmel Live YouTube channel on Mar. 12, and has since amassed over 17 million views. The segment has been a viral hit since its inception, which features famous targets including actors, musicians and sports stars reading tweets from their haters. Gwyneth Paltrow, Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey and Kobe Bryant are just a few who have endured the abuse. In the video, the President read gems like, “Obama’s hair is looking grayer these days,” the politician read. “Can’t imagine why, as he doesn’t seem to be one bit worried about all that’s going on.”
