An SSS 3 student of Falomo High School, Ikoyi, Lagos arrested for armed robbery has claimed he was fighting against unequal distribution of wealth. Nineteen year-old Victor Joseph said he decided to form a robbery gang because he discovered that the nation’s wealth was concentrated in few hands. Unlike the legendary Robin Hood, however, Joseph would rather use the wealth for himself.

I guess u are one of the political bad eggs in naijai. You might belong to the political associates that always walk away from the true feellings of the civilians. We all know taking other pple properties through force is generally wrong. But what the things that the govt have put in place for it citizen. Why is it that naija is well known for yahoo yahoo and other scam activities? Since our indepence,what have we achived as a national? Crime is everywhere but our govt have alot to offer it citizen.
Hardship is not a good thing and no one will ever pray for it. If you do not have the fear of God you will act illegally. that is why most of us go beyond our shore to look for a better life.
The govt needs to rehabilitate these guys becos they are too young. There are many pple which dreams have been killed becos of bad leaderships.

nice try. there is always a first. never been called an egg before let alone a bad one. you didnt need to go away. please come back and join the robbery squad or set up your own. your level of tolerance for this kind of wickedness like the average nigerian has makes our leaders the rogues they are. they are all picked from within nigeria. if you meet them on a one to one they will tell you they loot because they see poverty and want out. how cute is that?

o by the way there are loads of places in this world worse than nigeria. we dont all have to turn armed robbers. what does a 19yrs need all these hundred of thousands of naira for? buy more recharge cards and sleep with some misguided girls. is it worth it in your books.

The blood sucking gangstars that shouldd be shot are the politicians.Moreover,it is just car theft,not even jacking.

He told our correspondent that he was tired of lack and his inability to feed. He said that seeing people who were not as hard working as his parents cruising around in flashy cars and living in expensive mansions almost made him crazy.

According to him, his anger boiled over when he discovered that he could not pay the fees for his final examination last year. Joseph, who claimed he was brilliant enough to pass his school certificate examination at one sitting, said, “It was a sobering moment. I saw my fellow students writing WAEC and I could not. My eyes opened and I knew I had to do something. Although my school accepted me back to repeat SSS 3, I knew that history would repeat itself if I didn’t do something.”

Revolution,it is not going to come easy.The things the europeans revolted for in the 17th,18th centuries are not as disastrous,backward,oppressive and unmethodical as what we have in AFRICA today.

I hate it when Nigerians abroad talk down on Nigerians at home. Most of you haven't been to Nigeria in 20years. But you are all quick to judge Nigerians. I'm not trying to justify the brother's act but I'm not condemning him either cause I have seen what's going on. I live in Canada and I laugh when these people complain about health care benefit etc,  Even if you want to work in Nigeria, there are no jobs to do. Don't say it's same all over the world. If it's same, Nigerians won't be dying to move into SA. So please
