ASABA—Delta State Commissioner for Special Duties in charge of Ughelli/Asaba Road dualisation, Mr David Anuku, yesterday, said that the ‘B’ section of the road project was 98 percent complete.

Anuku, when he led other top government officials, including his Lands, Survey and Urban Development counterpart, Mr Misan Ukubeyinje, said the state governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, will commission Sector ‘B’ of the project before May 29.

Noting that about 70 per cent of sector ‘A’ had also been completed, he said the state government was committed to the completion of the road, which, according to him, would ease the transportation of goods and services in the state.

He said that finishing touches were being put to Sector ‘B’ of the road project which spans through Arhade, Kwale to Osissa in Isoko North, Ndokwa East and Ndokwa West Local Government Areas respectively. Anuku commended Uduaghan for embarking on the project.

On point. I passed through the road yesterday and the Contractors CCC putting finishing touches to the section.

My question, is that a federal or state road? because the pace of construction is very slow. A road that is not up to 25km is what they are constructing for about five years now, the worst part is the the OP was not able to show the second lane cos it has not been started even the lane show is half done and that is the Major road linking deltans to the East.
