Just shut up. The ones that came after him promoted themselves to five star general within short period of time after seizing power. Abdulsallam was a Major General and became a full star general within seven months.

Liar. Idiagbon and Babangida, the Chief of Staff Supreme Headquarters and the Chief of Army Staff respectively were brigadier generals. I still have a magazine of Newswatch of 1988. Babangida promoted himself immediately.
