As a result, there have been accusations and counter accusations among members of the congress.
While Mr. Sina Akinpelu, the Public Relations Officer of OPC told newsmen in Ibadan on Monday that he and other members had asked Adams to leave the congress for good having allegedly eroded the potency of the association because of his glaring political affiliation, Chief Gani Adams had ordered his (Akinpelu) expulsion from the congress since 2014 and that he no longer has the right to speak on behalf of the congress.

Speaking on the membership status of Akinpelu, the Oyo State Coordinator of OPC, Chief Adeagbo Adeola Musediq, said, Akinpelu was no longer the PRO of OPC in the state.
