The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe university,Awka has denied their students of their right to vote by fixing their first semester examination during the election period.the students have expressed their concern on this issue. In an interactive session with the SUG president,he said that news from the dean student affairs office says that students are adviced to stay back and continue with their exams. Also from a student,he expressed his dissatisfaction with this.he further said that it is totally unfair,during such periods,students are given break from school to exercise their rights to vote and incase of any violence during the process student should be safe in their homes.he therefore pleads with the federal government to come to their aid.
