The southwest region of Nigeria belongs to the yoruba ethnic group, we all know dat d yorubas desire for quality and good education is a thing we strive for, parents want the best for their children. In this region each state has only 2 public universities. Taking Lagos 4 instance the most popular state and the commercial capital of Nigeria and not forgeting the most densed state in nigeria. The demand for higher education in this state is very high that people can do anything for adm into university. The reason why people living in lagos dont choose unilag is the fear of competition and Lasu is the high tuition fee. The fed govt just approved new 9 private universities in Nigeria. We all know d cost of dis uni is very high dat iya alata child cannot attend dis unis or do u expect a petty trader dat makes little to pay 500k above as skul fees. My conclusion is that we want more cheap public universities in southwest so dat our children wil not suffer 4 quality high edu anymore. This a region where every1 lives and interact in peace regardless of ur tribe. Pls we dont want to suffer again
