Do you believe Blago will be removed from office? Lol, Chi-Town politics in full swing, from Springfield to Washington DC. Yes, he has been impeached and he is set to go on trial end of this month. So what, what's next? Chicago politics is not for the meek, you gotta have some balls and they better be blue. Well, don't worry the chill in Windy City will help speed up the color for ya!

Here is what's going on. . . Blago is having a blast! I have never before seen a criminal sleep peacefully while his accusers are loosing theirs, but Blago is the true model of a M'th Bleep'er in the American sense. His defense will hinge on three angles, two of which so far is working in his advantage.

1. collateral damage to Rahm Emmanuel
2. encounter over trade offs and the subsequent public drama with Reid over Burris appointment.
3. political liabilities for SEIU

Pay attention to number 2. You have not heard all the episodes of that drama, there is more to come. It is no news to say you will be shocked when its told. At the end of the day, powerful interests in 1 and 2, coming out of Washington DC will overide Springfield and Blago will retain his governorship. He will be convicted but he will not be deposed. . .symbolic but nonetheless defining!

Of course the Dems do not want another White House Chief of Staff convicted for perjury and obstruction of justice, which ironically was the ruling given to Libby by Patrick Fitzgerald, same Attorney investigating Blago. They are also ambitious and all around the nation they need to diminish political losses on ideological grounds. Removing Blago could shift Illinois to Republican in 2010 mid term election. Republicans would love that Blago is removed, that will open a big can of worms and you can bet that the Repubs will exploit that to the misfortune of the Dems in mid-term. It is unacceptable that President Obama should loose his home state to Republicans.

This mofo called Blagojevich got some BLUE BAWLLS and he is ready to swing it!

Already the Dems face some challenges in mid term election as it is. First, dissing Howard Dean in the manner that Kaine was presented as the new Party Chairman has fractured some feelings. Dean's loyalists are furious! Second, Rahm Emmanuel and Tim Geithner are being shielded over their scandals but Bill Richardson was left unprotected. Hispanics, already upset that their bloc was given a low profile cabinet post, now have more than enough justification to break ranks in 2010.

Tell everyone you know that Blago may be impeached and convicted but he is keeping his seat and will remain the governor till 2010. The dude should move to Nigeria, he acts like one. cheesy

I don't know about other people but my position abou the election has never changed. I did not support Barack but I voted for him and my reason was clearly narrated.

As far as theories, we will always spin and counter spin them. We are talking politics here, not changing oil or light bulbs. So get with the program or move over to culture or religion if you are uncomfortable with political theories.

Oh, I have more predictions for you than that.

McCAIN is going to win November 08.  He will seek reelection in 2012 and win that as well.  Few months into second term, the Republican Party operatives will visit him.  After that visit he will either be dead or terminally ill with a syndrome.  Either way, his second term will be run through by Sarah Palin.  2016, Palin will run on her own campaign.  This 4yr successions could be broken by Democrat if they field a strong candidate.  But if Republicans in their global ambitions succeed in turning the world against America, then a true change might then occur in which the populace rebel agaiant their government and take back their government and vote anybody in, you could be flava-flave, you will win the election under that circumstance and go into white house.

Negro on September 2, 2008

Kay, Do you really believe Obama is going to win?  Have you lost thought on the possibility of Hillary running as an independent?  If that were to happen, the win is a landslide for McCain.  You might be wondering why she would do something like that.  Because she is ambitious and believes strongly that she is championing women cause.  She is blinded by her own belief and the support behind her of women that equally share in that cause.  There is only one person that stop her and that is Bill Clinton.  Bill will do it for the simple fact that Bill sees himself as the patriarch of DNC.  He has goals for his daughter to grow in the party and so branching out is not an option that will settle well with him.  However, provoked long and hard enough, he might become unsettled and champion the idea.  Obama's victory into the white house is squarely in the Clinton's palms.  But in his elitist and arrogant attitude, he embarassed Bill last night in Ohio.  Yeah, don't worry its not in the news.  I dont relay newsfeed.

At Representative Stephanie Tubb-Jones funeral yesterday, in his acknowledgement of attendees, he addressed Bill, with an empasis, as *Former President Bill Clinton*.  There were many speakers after him and not a single one of them failed to give the proper address when they mentioned his name, *President Bill Clinton*.   What Obama did is called political suicide! When the camera swept over to Bill, you could see his embarassment.  Is there anyone that doesn't know that Bill is a former President?  Whats the point?  According to protocol, the only time you use the term "Former" is when a sitting President is in audience with a former president/s.  If that was not elitist and arrogant, I dont know what it is.  In his rush to appear Presidential, he is offending bases that are crucial to his win in November.

the guy is a proper oaf.  grin

whew how did Negro's credibility just vanish in a matter of months undecided

Illinois isn't going to the republican party. a party in so much disarray they had to bring alan keyes from maryland to run against Obama.

Sure Illinois has a checkered past with Al Copone and his Cahoots taking Cicero votes at gun points and the anniversary of the Valentine's day massacre is just around the corner. Yes, Yes we are knows as the murder capital of the US still that don't make us completely lawless!! Haba!! cry

People are calling for his head on a silver platter and I honestly can't see any way out of it for him.

I know dear, it's a twist if you know what I mean. grin I know you comprehend the way Chicago politics work and of course Blago is a dead man. But let me put this in a context that will give it appreciation. In 2004, did you think Bush could have won re-election? Everyone was asking for his head but yet he beat John Kerry. In 1998 Bill Clinton was impeached by the House of Rep but was then acquited of perjury and obstruction by the Senate.

How did all these things happen? This is rhetorical question and does not need to be answered but you get my gist sweetie. grin
