In the wake of a spate of election related violence
all across the Nation, the flag bearer of the All
Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu
Buhari, may be about to shock the entire populace
and his teeming supporters, by announcing that he
is pulling out of the presidential race.

The bit of information was gathered from a reliable
source close to the people’s general, who said the
general told him in confidence that he was weary of
all the shenanigans of modern Nigerian Politics.
In an attempt to hear from the horses mouth, we
contacted General Buhari on the phone.

Surprisingly, this is what he had to say:
“My vrother, I am tired. I cannot understand why
we cannot just hab this election in feace. Look
around. So much killing. So much ees-cue-rity. So
much vloodshed. I am tired. I am stepping down
prom ze fresidential race. If running por fresident
means the death and destraction op lipe and
fraferty, then I wash my hands clean. let Goodluck
kwantest against the others. No Folitical Amvition
is worth ze vlood op ze Nigerian fiful”.

Meanwhile, President Jonathan has hit back at
General Buhari through his spokesperson, Mr
Reuben Abati, saying:
“Why is the General stealing President Jonathan’s
lines? Is it not President Jonathan who said the
whole “No ambition is worth the blood” thing? This
is Plagiarism. We are adding this to the WAEC
scandal in the court case. If he will step down, then
we will make sure he steps down based on the
illegalities of his Candidature, not Goodwill”
