An exclusive report of hotspots in Nigeria where election violence may erupt has been published by Leadership. In the report, states in Nigeria are divided into three , represented by traffic light colours- red, amber and green. The red states are expected to experience heavy violence, the amber states are experience medium violence while the green states will experience little or no violence. The red states include; North Central (NC) – Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa; North East (NE) – Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Taraba; North West (NW) – Kaduna, Kano, Zamfara; South South (SS) – Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Edo; South East (SE) – Enugu, Imo; South West (SW) – Lagos The amber states include: NE – Bauchi, Gombe; NW – Jigawa, Katsina, Sokoto; SE – Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi; SW: Ondo, Oyo, Ogun; NC – Kogi, Niger.
