It has been observed that the new Card Readers (CR) come with a thin film over the lens that can reduce its sensitivity and obstruct reading finger prints. This can either prevent or slow the process. Kindly check to ensure that these films are removed in problematic CRs. Also, for cases where your finger prints cannot be read while the CR reads for others, kindly clean your finger tips with methylated spirit or wash them thoroughly.
