Is it not safe to infer that governor Amaechi's action was well thought out to shy away from voting a man he has spent so much in cash and kind to campaign for, but whom he does not trust one bit?

If Amaechi refuses to vote for a reason that's flimsy and not justiceable could it not be interpreted as betrayal?

By his action he has succeeded in doing no good whatsoever to his party and his candidate. His allegayion is not justiceable in any way whatsoever.

The result sheet is more important than the ballot paper in Nigeria election. How do you expect INEC to declare the result of the election without the result sheets? Ameachi did the right because if nobody votes then INEC cant manipulate the results

Don't mind the child, if u finish voting and time to enter the result they write it in a fullscalp sheet how would u like it?
And then when they get to INEC office they bring out the result sheet and write what they like.

Simple logic , no result sheet no vote,but if u vote without a result sheet it can b a plus. For whosoever hv result sheet 1 + 0= 1,but if u didn't vote ,it cnt b a plus 2dem,nor plus2u too 0+0 =0

A vote not cast is a vote wasted.... ! Amaechi falls Buhari and APC hands, period! No argument about it....!

Ameachi is a good leader and never betrayed anybody. He just did that out of annoyance moreover as the chief security of the state he has every to challenge that.

I voted in ph and realised dat d most important aspect of d election is d result sheet.many units did not have result sheet .This is were d rigging is going to happen as dey pay huge sums for d sheet and write d results hopING u go to cocourt.This alone makes mockery of d entire voting process.

Amaechi will probably laugh last. Right from the start he knew he was fighting a powerful battle. All the more reason he was so visible in this anti-Jonathan campaign. He might lose his state but he will be remembered as one of those who spearheaded the battle against Jonathan, from Governor's Forum to the decamping governors that moved over to APC.

The highest that will happen is he loses Rivers State to his political enemies. If Buhari wins, very few people will be eligible for the positions zoned to South-South (based on GEJ support) and Amaechi will be at the forefront.

Woe betide the same enemies in Rivers if Amaechi is handed anything that has to do with probing and law enforcement or even election crimes. The same people jubilating at the Rivers rigging will be cooling their heels in federal prisons around Nigeria.

The guys who probably lose in this equation are Amaechi's supporters who decamped with him, people like Dakuku Peterside them, APC House of Assembly and House of Reps, Senate members etc.

It seems we Nigerians don't go to field to witness Hw elections are being conducted...Refusing to vote means more opportunity for riggers to rig because they will av more unused Ballot papers which is an advantage to them...They may decide to thumb print 15 for their opponent and 708 for themselves especially units where they av up to 821 registered voters... Buhari may win next election bt nt this one ....we know what may come out from the North and so we widen the gap down here to compensate for loses over there.... POWER OF PRESIDENCY

Some fellas who have no idea of the position of the Law on such matter are making spurious claims about the result sheet being more important than the ballot paper. Law is not interpreted in the courts according to your emotions.

Meanwhile I see the APC in early jubilations when the trickling resultss do not suggest clear leads.

Maybe you need to read the electoral law and the electoral guideline to know the position of the law on that.
