ELECTION 2015: NIGERIANS MUST LET INEC SPEAK
Discordant Haste Rarely Ever Translate To Real Speed

NIGERIANS MUST STOP PUBLISHING FAKE ELECTION RESULTS!!!

I have said that one of the greatest difficulties in covering Nigerian politics is how to know who is NOT lying. Privately, I had hoped the hard-fought nature of this election would elevate our collective need to know the real result over our individual penchants for malfeasance, mischief or malice.

So far we have received over 75 "different" STATE-WIDE results despite that Nigeria has NOT heard officially from Professor Attahiru Jega, head of elections-monitoring agency, INEC. OK, truth is almost always the first causality of war and this election has been more than a war of words. But truth seems to be falling faster from the moment some Nigerians learned to photo-shop, create "blogs" and manufacture "news" in their bedrooms.

SO FAR WE ARE REFUSING TO PUBLISH "RESULTS"
We all have a need to know but Nigerians must please let INEC speak!

We are all entitled to our own wishes or itches or dreams or delusions. But regardless of who you support you are NOT entitled to your own FACTS. NIGERIA DELEGATED THE DUTY OF FACT PRODUCTION TO INEC!!

PLEASE WAIT FOR INEC TO SPEAK!!!
