Someone once said if you stand for nothing....you fall for anything (or something like that). Well my point is, the SE thinks it's about time they produce a Nigerian president. I do too but it's not going to be handed to them on a platter. They need to go out and work for it....I mean work hard. They need to pair up with either the west or the north. they r not talking to the north and they r busy fighting the western guys over Lagos. Now, a new govt would be constituted by a party the SE didn't vote for. It's back to square one. What amazes me is that the best the SE got under the Pdp in the past 16yrs is the Senate president office....and they still keep voting Pdp. How does that work? 33 Likes 1 Share |

You can't blame these ibo guys. They have no foresight. They rather remain stagnant than move foward. Quite contended with Business. 22 Likes 1 Share |

I don't think the SE misfired; they stood for what they believed in and that's what true heroes are known for. More so, the president elect should do a soul searching why he is never accepted in the two geopolitical regions since 2003 45 Likes 5 Shares |

it's all about standing for what you believe, and the SE have never believed in Buhari; it's now left for Buhari to prove the SE wrong, by his performance, that he is deserving of being Nigerian president. Even SW just voted him the first time, the fourth time of asking, and he will have to prove that he deserved that support 34 Likes 3 Shares |

If Ngige was voted for, SE should have had the Senate Presidency automatically. But as usual, missed yet another opportunity. 4 Likes |

The SE needs to get over the belief that North and SW is their opposition. The Ibos will always be loved and accepted by Nigerians for a leadership position in the future if they can truly put Nigeria and not their tribe first. #GodBlessNigeria 8 Likes |

A lot of you need to grow up really that's all I can say The south east should have no regrets about it's political choices and stick with the PDP and APGA come rain come shine! You guys can share power at the center however you like. In 2 weeks time Rochas Okorocha will be booted out of Douglas house. Please do with him what you may in your cabinet. Everyone does not have to be in the winning party. Come 2019 as planned the PDP will as planned present a younger northern candidate with a VP from south east then we will see how popular whoever APC present truly is. Like I say, you guys should bother yourself on how to run a successful government and leave the south east alone. The south east is more interested in the implementation of the confab report than any silly position APC has to offer. APC for whatever reason chose to stay away from the confab. We will see what APC does with that confab report. It's not about who is up or who is down. Let's see how you can raise Nigeria up! 28 Likes 3 Shares |

Doncolio: You can not vote along tribal lines and then turn around to accuse others of tribalism! Buhari's election represents everything wrong about Nigeria. It is childish to even try to spin it otherwise! How many other countries around the world will a 72 year old former dictator who left office 30 years ago win an election? Buhari's election is a dent on the conscience of this nation so to spin it around and go on about Igbo this and Igbo that is quite frankly pathetic We will see how Buhari solves all of Nigeria's problems in the next 4 years! 18 Likes 3 Shares |

When I said this on this forum several years ago many Ibos PointB, Onlytruth were arguing. Politically Ibos are clueless As at 2007 Orji Kalus PPA had 2 governors, Tinubus AC had 1 governor Today Tinubu's APC has the presidency, majority in Senate and possibly governors PPA is dead . APGA is dead. The PDP they carried on their head is more of a Northern party sef No Senator from APGA 29 Likes 2 Shares |

eph12:here they go again with thesame stupid line. The seats they've been winning is. The reason why their votes have become powerful as they get to have enough political juggernauts to influence the people. If you look closely, you'll realise that other regions are far better than the SE, but an Ibo man won't agree. 7 Likes 1 Share |

mikeansy: Do you need some tisue to wipe those tears? Buhari would rule this country as he wishes And as we have shown APC doesnt need your vote at all. Keep it to yourself The owners of Nigeria have aligned. It took almost 55yrs to achieve but it has been done now the most populous regions are together. Watch out for another ANC like domination while you struggle in the opposition without Federal backing 8 Likes |

DickTator1: Where are they now? They only elected a VP and we no go hear word Come 2019 we will play the same game the SW plays and help elect a Northerner too Anyday APC puts forward a south westerner for Presidency PDP and South East will align with the North too! raumdeuter: So the Igbos can wait and strategize for 4yrs. I hate to hold brief for the Igbos but we in the ss are now aligned with the Igbos. Buhari would soon tell Tinubu who the president is, the best the sw can hope for is crumbs from buhari's table. 1 Like |

Even Buhari don't tire for the Ibos sef. He twice chose Ibo as a running mate, I.e. in 2003 and 2007. But they refused to vote for him. They would have actualise their dream by now. 3 Likes 1 Share |
