With people like this in the Niger Delta, I wonder how they expect development. These are the main enemies to the Niger Delta people. |

podosci: You made no point. Why would Asari be elected/ chosen of all the capable Igbos, Ijaws, Efiks, Ibibios, Annangs, Orons, Adonis, Okrikas, Ogonis etc to lead if a new country was formed? I'm not a fan of Asari but I didn't notice any part of this statement, which like or not, holds some truth, that suggests he is gunning for presidency of a new country. Neither have any of his past statements suggested this. The election results are very telling. A clear picture of how the country may best be split if/ when the time comes. |

Asari better behave himself, Nigeria is bigger than one man. He would just put innocent Niger deltans in trouble. Nigerians voted for their choice, he should grow up. It was estimated that Nigeria's out would dry up in 20yrs. I honestly can't wait.... Finally, with all the patronage AsarI enjoyed under GEJ, what did he do to help his pple? he better calm down, his pple better talk to him. I doubt the president in waiting would enjoy being threatened by a tout before he was sworn in. Cheers, |

kronors: So what ARRRRE you interested in? Being irrelevant in Nigeria? Being the punching bag all over the place? being called the aggressor and the bigot by those who are actually the ones doing it? Stop trying to gain popularity points because you won't get far. If you are against war that is fine, but stand for something that is not a joke like what has occurred last weekend and in our militarcracy |

I hate when people hide their true intentions just to deceive others, Any yoruba person saying that he vote against Gej for poor performance knows inside their mind that they're lying to themselves. what is average performance of obj in 2003 and yoruba vote for him. I think the losers of this election are not ss people rather the whole southern nigeria because the north has succeed in dividing us. The north had never vote based on party before, but they vote their man.it happened in 2003 during obj and buhari. and 2011 and 2015 again, now after buhari if apc field southern candidate from west pdp can bring northerner to take back power and with anger ss and se will vote pdp and they'll continue to rule and anytime pdp brings a southner, apc can bring northern person and west can help him to win. The northerners have succeed in dividing us and it can take long and collective efforts to bounce back. 1 Like |

keppyy: My dear, I tender unreserved apology if I sound like a war monger but let me assure you that I m far from what you think but the problem of this country remain unresolved simply cos people shy away from saying the truth so as to avoid backlash from people that are well known for "victim mentality". I am a Yoruba man and if a Yoruba man is doing smting wrong, I think I should be able to say the Yoruba is wrong. If I decide to keep quiet simply cos he is a Yoruba man, trust me, I ll equally be a victim one day. Let's confront evil and shame the devil at all time. I was opinion that our forefathers should not have kept quiet over some national issues in 60s and 70s. Please, I want you to read a neutral Nigeria history written by a foreigners (British writers) books and come back here to tell me how you feel. Prior to the coup in 60s, Yorubas and Igbos were given most of the civil service positions in the North cos of lack of education of Northerners. However, Igbos started; Igbos nearly tormented lives out of Northerners just like what you are witnessing in the South west today. They called Northerners all sort of names as a result of their lack of education; they rub it on their faces before things got out of hands and completely turned to Pogrom. If I lied against Igbos, I want you to look at how they used the same education against Buhari in the last election. All what their progenitors did in 60s is repeating itself today my friend.... Having read all sort of books that were written about Nigeria history in 60s, it's quite sad that we have allowed evil to flourish for too long. The only people(Igbos) who destroyed our true federalism system under Aguiyi Ironsi despite all warnings, committed such enormous atrocities against other ethnic groups by killing and maiming their leaders on the streets like chickens while their own leaders who formed the present government then free, Jesus Christ! !!!, betrayed other southerners to form alliance with Northern Oligarchy in 1963 and 1979, fully put their kinsmen in all sensitive governmental positions under Aguiyi Ironsi regime without any consideration of others, truncated our first democracy through coup that led to the death of prominent leaders from other ethnic groups, turned Nigeria state to unitary system of government so as to control others and kept shouting marginalisation from day one of independence despite the fact that they held more governmental positions than any other ethnic groups in Nigeria. I am not one of those that patronise evil; I speak against evil at all time. And guess what, despite all these atrocities against Yorubas, Hausas and other minority groups, they were forgiven and others moved on but Igbos thought that they are the only one who has got a monopoly of vengeance........ I ll cite my working place as an example, I have a Yoruba guy from Ibadan who was a pain on peoples' ass. He is very tough and of course trouble seeking, but unfortunately he was the first person I met and we became friends but along the line, I realised that he was nothing but evil. However, I made up my mind to confront him and I did. He stopped coming to ask for free ride back home after work which was ok by me. He went to report me to another Nigerian that i betrayed him as a fellow Yoruba guy; that I fought him because of a guy from Sri Lanka(i think part of India before) and I told the other Nigerian guy that I was happy that I did. I just can't stand evil. Finally, prior to Jonathan government? who ever thought that the heart of Igbos are filled up with such hatred towards Yorubas and Hausas? Please, go on Facebook and some fora to see the evil words that came out from the heart of these people. They called Hausas all sort of names as well as Yorubas. Historically, they formed alliance with the same Northerners in 63 and 79 at the detriment of other southerners and nobody preached against the Igbos in the south; most especially the Yorubas that has Chief Obafemi Awolowo as a candidate. No war against them in South west. They seemed to have found comfort under Jonathan govt which has allowed them to show the new generation of Yorubas and Hausas how evil they can be and have always been. If you choose to keep quiet as a Yoruba, Ibibio, hausa or Itsekiri man, trust me, they are coming for your head one day. NB, if you choose to keep quiet today over evil, the person at the receiving end of evil ll get tired one day and there ll be d same war u r trying to avoid. SPEAK AGAINST HATE AND EVIL. PEACE OUT 1 Like |

chebeoc: With the exception of some grammatical issues (maybe the rush to post) I agree with you. The biggest losers are the southerners, but because Yorubas don't see themselves as that, it doesn't concern them, leaving the East (all those ss-se termed areas) expressing their disdain. But it has happened before and will happen again until the East finally decides to be serious. |

kayslimshady: Don't be foolish , there is no intelligence in holding a country to ransome for not reelecting your kinsman. The only claim of Asari is this idea that Nigeria can not survive would be brought to it's knees through him, he'll be up for a big surprise when all his foolish benefactor has blessed him with is taken without fuss. If Jonathan is not diplomatic enough to use the largest political organ in Africa which spreads from north to south and east to win an election well he is foolish, he thought the Yoruba and Hausa can be bought with money the same way folks like Asari and all these fake Biafra wonabe were compromised ! There is no shaking, and I hope Asari is ready to get served first , we can leave Niger , Chad and Cameroon to finish BH off while we serve the ND creek boys their due rewards cold. |
