1. Fallacy: As long as you confess your sins and believe Christ, you are born again
Fact.
John 3:3 to 8 — "Unless anyone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of heaven...The wind blows where it wants... but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of spirit"

John 3:16 - "Everyone exercising faith has everlasting life"

While being born again is a requirement for going to heaven, it is not a command for all Christians to strive to be born again. As compared to everlasting life which is open to everyone having faith, man has no control of the process of becoming born again any less than he can control the wind. It is also similar to the lack of control one has in being born to a certain family.

2. Question: Who determines who gets born again?
1st Pet 1:3, 4- "Praised be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ who gave us a new birth to a living hope... It is reserved in the heavens for you."

Eph 1:9,10-"... It is according to his good pleasure to gather all things in Christ both the things in the heavens and the things on the earth"

Jehovah's determines according to his good pleasure. Simple

3. Question: What is the role of born again Christians in heaven?

Rev 20:6- "... they will be priests of God and and of Christ and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years."

4. Fallacy: All true Christians must be born again.
Fact
Rev 14: 1 to 4- "And I saw with him (Jesus) 144 000 who have his name and the name of his father written on their forehead...They were bought from the earth"

Just as we are not all presidents or senators, a limited and fixed number of born again humans go to heaven to form part of God's Kingdom in heaven. They with Christ rule over humans on earth (Rev 5:9, 10)

5. Fallacy: Christians who are not born again are sinful, cursed.
Fact:
Matt 5:5 - "Happy are the mild tempered for they shall inherit the earth."
Isaac 65:23,24 : "They will not bear children for disturbance. Because they are the children made up of the blessed ones of Jehovah"

6. Fallacy: It does not matter. As long as you confess Christ that's all that's necessary. No need to argue or bother on these doctrines.
Fact.
1st Tim 2:4 - " God's will is that all men be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth"
Rom 10:2, 3- "I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God but not according to accurate knowledge."

So it is up to you. Have you decided to become born again? You may not need to bother. Instead focus on learning the truth in God's word of truth.

To be born again means to advance from stooge 1 to stooge 2. Other authorities could define it as the peak of dogma.
