The Name Of The Suspected Terrorist Trying To Bomb The Church In Kaduna Has Been Revealed (Picture)
Nathaniel Samuel was arrested in Kaduna yesterday, he was trying to set off explosive materials at Living Faith Church, Sabon Tasha Kaduna.

What did that tell us, the intention is to consolidate their lies about Christian vs Muslim rhetorics.
May God continue to expose them

He is NOT a suicide bomber though. You cannot 'arrest' a true suicide bomber. He was going to throw that device or bury it with a timer.

Nigerians are being manipulated big time and out of anger I dont care anymore. If you want to believe all 80m muslims want to kill the entire 80m christians OR vice versa, you are a fool and may it happen to you as you believe, Amen.
The people who will reap from all these setups and manipulation l are in fancy board rooms and hotel suites. They are like serpents and those who so believe are the dust that has been cursed to be fed to the serpent.

The FG should start community policing and put in place, proactive, early warning systems into the security architecture.
This would be a Nigeria Police Force information system not under the control of any political appointee.
Ordinary land disputes should be reported, put into databases, ranked as to risk rating and escalated up or dealt with at the local level. Every incident recorded at a village police station should remain on the database. Very simple.

If this had been in place since 1999, there would have been no militant Fulani (not herdsmen pls), no middle belt militia, no Boko Haram and no ND militants

FIGHT AGAINST TERRORISM: NAF COMMISSIONS K-9 WING IN BAUCHI

As part of its continued efforts to deal with contemporary security challenges, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) today, 3 February 2020, commissioned another Canine (K-9) Wing in Bauchi, bringing to 2, the number of K-9 Wings under the NAF 057 Provost Investigation Group. Prior to today’s commissioning, the NAF had trained 20 Air Provost personnel, alongside 20 Military Working Dogs (MWDs). The specialist trainings included explosive and narcotic substance detection, waterman-ship, navigation and rappelling. The establishment of the Wing now brings to 40 the total number of MWDs inducted into the Service since inception of the current NAF administration.

Speaking while commissioning the K-9 Wing, which comprises an Administrative Block, Handler Accommodation and Kennel Building, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, represented by the Chief of Administration, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Mohammed Idris, stated that the commissioning was yet another milestone in the commitment of the NAF to opening and expanding new frontiers, towards providing the required secure environment for air operations to thrive. He stated that the NAF, for the first time, undertook the training and enlistment of 5 Special Operation Dogs to further push the options for engagement of MWD in the Service. He attested to the impressive contributions and capabilities that the Special Operations MWDs have brought to NAF ground operations and Base Defence efforts as evidenced during the various counterterrorism exercises conducted by the Service in 2019.

According to the CAS, the decision to situate the K-9 Wing in Bauchi, stemmed from the imperative to have the MWDs directly supporting NAF counterterrorism and counterinsurgency operations in the North East, as well as integrating them in the activities of the Special Operations Command. The growth in the Provost’s K-9 capability, he said, is equally projected to create the capacity for the Air Provost to be integrated in the conduct of Combat Search and Rescue operations in the Service. “Indeed, the long-term outlook, is to have MWD operations fully encapsulated in the law enforcement, Base Defence and special operations of the NAF as well as in Military Aid to Civil Authority when the need arises”, he said.

Other areas of capacity building recently conducted for Provost personnel, according to the CAS, included the training of 167 orderlies in VIP Protection; training of 140 Provost personnel in Force Protection in Complex Air Ground Environment (FPCAGE), in conjunction with the British Military Advisory Training Team; and the Advanced Detective Course for 30 Provost officers. He said the recent push to make in-roads in the development of the capacity and capability of the Air Provost is premised on the need to have a proactive police force. “Police that would nip threats in the bud and provide the enabling environment for NAF personnel to freely discharge their duties in furtherance of the Service’s constitutional responsibilities”, he said.

The CAS reiterated his charge to all personnel of the Air Provost to develop a strategic foresight founded on the need to be innovative and pursue advances in policing including ideology, models and concepts, in order to effectively meet the demands of contemporary policing. Also, the expectation to be flexible enough to interface and work alongside other security agencies to create a synergistic approach towards law enforcement and security. He also charged them on the imperative to be objective and fair in their dealings in order to gain support from the majority of the public. Air Marshal Abubakar also seized the opportunity to express his gratitude to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari, for the determined support and laudable efforts in building the capacity of the NAF.

While delivering his welcome address, the Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Special Operations Command (SOC), AVM Charles Ohwo, noted that the commissioning of the K-9 Wing was another milestone in the continuous drive to project air power across the spectrum of internal security challenges in the country. According to him, the K-9 Wing would further support measures to sustain the momentum and resolute determination to achieve the end state of protecting the lives and properties of Nigerians.

The event, which featured an exciting demonstration of the capabilities of the MWDs, was attended by commanders of collocated NAF units in Bauchi as well as other senior military officers. Apart from the K-9 Wings in Abuja, and now Bauchi, the NAF also has smaller K-9 units in Portharcourt, Yola, Maiduguri and Shasha.

CAPACITY BUILDING: NAF COMMISSIONS ANOTHER COMMANDO VILLAGE, INAUGURATES COMBAT SEARCH AND RESCUE COURSE 2/2020 AT IPETU-IJESHA IN OSUN STATE

As part of efforts geared towards improving the operational skills of personnel in the fight against insurgency and other forms of criminality in the country, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) today, 3 February 2020, commissioned a Commando Village at the 209 Quick Response Group (QRG), Ipetu-Ijesha. The Commando Village is designed as a typical rural area scenario that would be used by NAF personnel for training in jungle warfare. Also, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, inaugurated the NAF Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) Course 2/2020.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, the Executive Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, represented by his Deputy, Mr Gboyega Alabi, while commending the NAF leadership for constructing the Commando Village, noted that it was one of the numerous efforts aimed at honing the skills and competencies of NAF personnel to be more effective in combating insurgency, banditry and other security threats in the nation. The initiative, he remarked, would no doubt send the right signal to the criminal elements that there is no more hiding place for them. Governor Oyetola further noted that the facility would provide an avenue for producing trained personnel, in the right number and quality to defeat the criminals.

In expressing his appreciation to the Federal Government, Governor Oyetola said, “these aforementioned brilliant initiatives attest to the huge importance the Federal Government, under President Muhammadu Buhari, attaches to security and safety of the people of the South West. I deeply appreciate Mr President for his love and concern for the people,” he said. The Governor also thanked the CAS for his visionary leadership and ingenuity that translated to the provision of welfare for officers, airmen/airwomen as well as the building of their capacity for optimum service delivery. He assured of the State’s readiness to provide necessary support for the success of the laudable efforts of the NAF in providing security for the people.

Speaking during the commissioning, the CAS, who was represented by the Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Ground Training Command (GTC), Air Vice Marshal Idi Amin disclosed that the event marked the fulfillment of his promise during EXERCISE BUJE EKUN in December 2019 to improve the training facilities at NAF Base, Ipetu-Ijesha for the training of personnel in specific area of needs, such as jungle warfare, should the NAF Special Forces be required to contribute in dealing with Internal Security challenges in the South South or South West of the Country. The CAS noted that in contemporary times, insecurities around the world were more often caused by non-state actors and are fought in built-up areas such as towns and villages. Accordingly, the CAS maintained that there was need to give personnel training in such environments, which have their own complexities, in order to familiarize them with such terrains.

Speaking further, Air Marshal Abubakar reiterated the NAF’s commitment to continue providing the enabling environment for realistic training. He therefore charged the instructors and students to make the best use of the facilities to develop the right operational skills, whilst ensuring proper maintenance of the village. He equally urged the 35 participants of the 14-week Combat Search and Rescue Course 2/2020 to ensure they remain focussed on their training whilst ensuring a harmonious relationship with the host communities. The CAS assured that the NAF would continue to develop manpower to meet its constitutional obligation to protect lives and properties of Nigerians while re-emphasizing that the task of nation building was a collective responsibility, especially given the various security challenges facing the nation. He also used the occasion to appreciate the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari, for his resolute support to the NAF in its quest to develop operational capability, assuring that the Service would continue to sustain efforts toward addressing the nation’s security challenges.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Commander 209 QRG, Group Captain Daniel Komo, stated that the Commando Village would enable personnel to conduct more realistic training exercises thereby improving the operational effectiveness of NAF air and ground platforms. He disclosed that the NAF had constructed 2 other Commando Villages in Kaduna and Bauchi to familiarize personnel with operations in the savannah and arid terrain. According to him, “the village will bring additional dimensions to our training, by allowing us to conduct more effective training using the peculiarities of the jungle environment”.

Among the other dignitaries that graced the occasion were senior officials of the State of Osun; the representative of His Royal Majesty, (Dr) Oba Samson Adeleke Agunbiade Oke, Agunbiade III, Ajalaye of Ipetu-Ijesha, as well as senior military officers and heads of security agencies in Osun. Highlight of the occasion was the simulation of a hostage rescue scenario, involving Close Quarter Battle (CQB), conducted by NAF Regiment and Special Forces personnel.

Has counter-terrorism become a profitable business in Nigeria?

"Conflict entrepreneurs within the hierarchy of military leadership and the ministries, departments and agencies in the security sector apparently use military funds meant for counter-terrorism operations to enrich themselves. Military spending is usually not audited due to its sensitive nature. The secrecy that surrounds it encourages misappropriation."

PRESS RELEASE

POLICE TACTICAL FORCES STORM ANSARU TERRORISTS’ CAMP
Neutralize over 250 terrorists and bandits

Special Operatives of Operation Puff Adder of the Nigeria Police backed by the Special Forces of the Police Airwing, in a daring offensive operation, stormed one of the largest operational camps of the Ansaru Terror Group (also housing other bandits and kidnappers) located in Kuduru Forest, Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State and successfully neutralized over 250 high-profile members of the Ansaru Terror Group.

The operation which commenced in the early hours of today, 5th February, 2020, was carried out by a combined team of operatives of Operation Puff Adder made up of the Police Mobile Force (PMF), Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), Special Forces, Intelligence Response Team (IRT), Special Tactical Squad (STS) and Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). The operation was necessitated by actionable intelligence linking terror and criminal elements in the super camp to series of terror-related violence, kidnappings, gun-running, cattle rustling and other heinous crimes across the country.

Unfortunately, during the operation, a Police Bell helicopter, which provided aerial and intelligence cover for the ground troops came under attack from the bandits using sophisticated anti-aircraft rifles and GPMG. Commendably, the pilot and the co-pilot who demonstrated uncommon courage and expertise, successfully landed the aircraft at the Air Force Base, Kaduna without further incident. They were thereafter evacuated for medical treatment. Both officers who sustained non-life threatening injuries are currently receiving treatment and are in stable condition.
The Police helicopter has since been flown out of the Kaduna Air Force Base by Police Pilots en-route to Abuja.

Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police assures citizens of safety and sustained intelligence-led operations against bandits across the length and breadth of the nation. He has equally applauded the unparalleled bravery, commitment and dedication of the Police operatives currently conducting the special mission.
