Let's not start arguing over maybe the Oba actually said that or not. He said it and it's wrong. but for any one to say Lagos is a no man's land, sanity is far away from him or her. What baffles me d most is when these Igbo guys, everywhere in this state will keep blabbing about wanting the APC out of the way. It's quite insane, my younger brother currently serving in Aba, and he told me what it was like to be there politically. No freedom of expression, do their wish or face their wrath. The same way they kicked out Ngige out of the Senate cos he's in Buhari's camp. Now that has caused you. Go to PH and make some noise against Wike, being an Igbo man, u're gone. Democracy is all about expression of individual choice of leadership & not about personal choice of one monarch. Jimi & Ambode are both of the same tribe, why the bias from the oba. Let the majority will in lagos prevail & let no one threaten anybody to vote his/her preferred candidate. Let's downplay issues of tribalism, it will get us nowhere.

Let's see where this ends. But the one problem that I have with my friends from the East is not that they choose to vote for Jimi Agbaje, a native of Umuahia in Abia state. Lol. My problem with them is the way they're going about it. They're almost running us over in my area and then I feel like a stranger in my home town. They're so sure that they will kick Fashola and his party out for a thing or two that they feel he did badly to them. And for anyone of us that feel this present administration is doing pretty good, they turn against us, like we're the strangers here, like we should just agree with them whatever they think is right. I don't like what the Oba said, but I also think that some non indigines should also be called to order - by someone.

to be sincere, saying Lagos is a no man's land is quite stupid. the bad part of this story is that, it is not only the Igbo's that will vote for Agbaje. if it were to be how and average SS and SE man thinks, then JK has no chance. but because a whole lot Yoruba people are not puppets like some people, that would give Agbaje q chance. But all that being said, I still fell Ambode will win. The Igbos were already making this look like a mini war, even before the Oba allegedly put this up yesterday. An average Easterner always want to claim what does not belong to him. He' s always right with all decisions he take. That should start to change, especially when Ambode wins on Saturday. Stop being selfish people.

He stated he was asked by Asiwaju and Gov Fashola (APC party leaders) to appeal to the Ndigbo community, he chose not to.

In my own area of Lagos, we have realized Ambode or APC cannot be held liable for the comments of H.R.H Oba Akiolu, the Paramount Ruler of Lagos.
