My neighbor's dog needs some urgent attention, which sadly he isn't getting from his owner. All the owner does is throw down a huge chunk of indomie without stew for him every morning. If the dog is lucky, he gets some rice and bone remnants.

He's my good friend, and I'd like to know ways I can begin to care for him so he can look a bit presentable. Poor boy sleeps outside

I read a thread sometime back about about a busy woman who gave her lhasa dog away, and the new owner couldn't care for it properly. and she had to go get it back. Can't seem to find it anywhere. Any help? I'd like to start from there.

First and foremost, your cute pal needs a shave. His furs are all tangled up, get someone to help with the grooming. His furs looks kinda unhealthy. Give him a shave, let new strands take shape... After which u can maintain from there.

as arcbay stated, a shave is good but you can also use a good shampoo..particularly a product of 'hartz'. i think they have one for long haired dogs "groomers best" or something.

cut off tangled hairs


and come back and post pictures of your lovely pet.

Hey OP, it's a commendable thing you are trying to get done. Give the dog a good bath. That's the first step; during the bath, you get to explore his body for wounds, parasites and co. If none of that is present, all he will need is a good groom, multivitamins and improved feeding.
