disgraced he was
a criminal he was tagged
jeered at, derided, scourged was he
he was publicly hanged between two thieves
he died like a common thief
then he was buried in a grave that did not belong to him
but he rose on the third day
yes, Jesus had the last laugh
he triumphed over sin, death and the grave
Jesus is alive!
Jesus is Lord!
