Advice Needed From Economics Students by Nobody: 2:32pm On Apr 08, 2015
Hello,
My younger brother has just gained admission into a private university to study Economics. He had originally intended on studying Mass Comm, even went as far as acquiring a diploma in it. He was allowed to transfer schools and he is seriously considering Economics because he says he's very good when it comes to financial and monetary topics.
However, he's not very strong in math. That's the one thing that continously worries him and he's very tempted to back out and just settle for English. I'm trying to inquire and ask if getting a bacherlor's In Economics would be attainable despite his poor mathematical foundation?
He's very studious, intelligent and works hard. Please give me advice so I can console my brother. And if it is attainable, what advice would you give to him as an Economics student? Please and thank you.

What topics in math would you suggest he starts reading before he resumes so he can start working towards them? Thanks so much for your reply.
