You are correct; America would gain a lot from encouraging a partnership with a rapidly developing and prosperous well governed Nigeria, but she is not interested in mutually beneficial partnership with Nigeria the plan is to Balkanise Nigeria an helping herself to our natural resources

Of course america policy is stomach infrastructure policy but they will gain more in a working nigeria. Nigeria would be bigger market place and there would be a bigger part of the population that would be middle class people. Even huge tourism to their countries.
