Elephone have finally put their Elephone P7000 flagship up for presale, revealing the price of this 3GB RAM device to be $229.99.
It has been a long time coming but Elephone’s first flagship device of 2015 has finally been listed for presale revealing the final retail price of the phone for the first time. Elephone first announced that they were working on the P7000 months back, so the wait has seemed like an eternity, but finally it is here and ready to be ordered.



To recap, the Elephone P7000 is a Mediatek flagship device aimed to compete with phones like the JiaYu S3 advanced, iOcean MT6752 Rock and Meizu M1 Note (when it finally gets an international release). Specifications include a 64bit Mediatek MT6752 chipset, 3GB RAM, integrated fingerprint scanner on the rear, LTE and 5.5-inch FHD display.
Compared to the rest of the flagship pack, Elephone have managed to get Sony to supply the rear 13 mega-pixel IMX214 camera, a 5 mega-pixel up front, and large 3450mAh battery. All of this sits inside a CNC machined alloy chassis.

The icing on the cake is that Elephone are shipping the Elephone P7000 with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Three colours are available including grey, silver and gold.

Jiayu S2 is a good device to part ur money for, but compared to the elephone P7000, that's all it is. If you're OK waiting a bit longer n u've got some pretty cool cash then I'd advice u go 4 d P7000. Jiayu S2 is a device of last year n a lot of improvement has been seen on later devices due to d MT6752 SoC mediatek has provided. U should also note DAT d P7000 is a Flagship device of Elephone for 2015.
Here r a few important differences btwn d P7000 n jiayu S2:
1. Battery Life: The P7000 spots a 3450mAh battery while d S2 gets a 2000mAh battery.
2. P7000 is a 64-bit LTE device with world mode 4G a more than okay RAM of 3GB and Lollipop OS out of d box and S2 is a 32bit device with a 1/2GB RAM depending on d variant u get with a more than old OS the Jellybean.
3. The P7000 will feature a Finger print touch ID somewhat like that of d iPhone 6...
These r d few but important areas where d P7000 beats d S2...but if d aforementioned points doesn't bother u then u should go with Jiayu S2 considering it'll be cheaper n Jiayu is a more trusted and experienced phone maker then Elephone.

Yeah, Elephone planned on releasing d phone with KitKat OS back in February before they decided extending d release date. I guess optimizing d device was one of d reason 4 d late release.

I would say d P7000 as I personally like d design. But Jiayu S3 is out n has received a great review from those who've used it, moreover Jiayu is a more trusted phone maker and d fact that Elephone has been known to lie about their specs on paper with d real thing not living to expectations doesn't help.
So I guess I'd just hold on to my money n wait for hands on review of d P7000 b4 I decide which phone to get.
