The Federal Government of Nigeria is set to evacuate Nigerians residing in Yemen due to recent instability and outbreak of violence in the country.Already,about 46 Nigerians have been identified and documented.The FG intends to rescue its citizens through preparations carried out by the Nigerian mission in Saudi Arabia,delay in evacuation of Nigerians was reported to be caused by lack of a Nigerian mission or embassy in Yemen.Already countries like Egypt,France,Russia,Germany,India etc have sent ships to evacuate their citizens. . http://m.news24.com/nigeria/National/News/FG-to-evacuate-Nigerians-in-conflict-torn-Yemen-20150410 |
