The most interesting election in the south west today will be Ekiti State. Only State of Assembly election holds there just like some other states.

This gives the governor Ayodele Fayose the opportunity to work for his party, PDP, against the APC that's been giving him tough time in the assembly.

Already, an impeachment notice had been instituted by the majority 19 APC lawmakers against the governor.

Interestingly, the APC lawmakers led by Omirin has directed the Chief Judge in the state to constitute and investigative panel to that effect.

Conversely, the 7 PDP lawmakers also directed the chief judge not to constitute any any panel to investigate impeachable offences levelled against the governor.

If the judge didn't constitute the panel, or if he did but the panel couldn't find any impeachable wrong doing, it means Fayose may complete his four years terms.

If the APC won the majority again today., Fayose's tenure is still on the line. But if PDP Have the majority, Fayose is save because the house will protect him.
