Poor turnout, peaceful conduct in Lagos West

ASIDE the low turnout of voters that characterised the governorship election in Lagos West Senatorial District, the exercise was largely peaceful.
At most polling units visited in Ojo, Badadgry, Oriade, Mushin, Oto-Awori, Alimosho, Amuwo-Odofin, and Ikotu-Igondo Local Government Areas,LGAs, there were little or no cases of logistics challenges.

Accreditation and voting started as scheduled at most of the units.

The presence of security agents on most of the major roads was skeletal, as idle youths were seen playing football on the highways.

Results from some polling units showed that the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, is wining in Amuwo Odofin while the All Progressives Congress leads in Mushin LGAs – areas regarded as their traditional strongholds.

At polling unit 016/Idiaraba Mushin, APC had 155 while PDP scored 8 votes in the governorship election. The result of polling unit 019 Idiaraba, showed the APC scored 82, while the PDP had 6.
Polling Unit 005 Idiaraba; APC 84, PDP 67; Polling Unit 003 Ward/Okota; PDP 153, APC 83.

Agbaje had his chance to capitalize on the gaff of the Oba, but instead, he chose to overflog the issue and create a siege mentality in the minds of the Yorubas, thereby losing majority votes (Yorubas) at the expense of minority votes (Ibos).
Who in this world honestly thinks Ibos are more than Yorubas in Lagos?

I called my friend in lagos this morning and asked him if ambode could win because from what we were hearing, Agbaje could carry the day.
He asked me a question and I quote,"Tinubu don die?".That reaffirmed my belief. My fellow forumites, Saturday is AmboDAY.

Alimosho is Kano State in terms of votes for Lagos state... Win it and you are more likely to be the Gov of Lagos State

There is this issue of low turn out everywhere. Also, i thought d scanty security personnels in my area(Oyo State) is due to heavy deployment to high-tension states like Lagos. The rule on no vehicular movement was also trampled on here. The questn is, where are the security operatives
