Mikey made a very big attempt it is almost impossible to wipe out that that of past.l believe the don was already out but due to his postion as the most powerful don then others try to pull him back.Vito was actually the one that brought up the ldea of the family going clean.
Connie is power drunk.l think she would have made a great if not for the fact that women runs on emotion and her stupidity in part two.

Have come to appreciate The Godfather more from re reading the book much more than watching the Dvd. I got to appreciate Mike's own luca- Al Neri from reading not watching. Godfather helped shaped a whole lot of my worldview.
