I see Rochas becoming the first Igbo president. He is popular in the north and west and will win the SE. Rochas is the future and next generation of APC leaders. Anyway congrats to Owelle

You are right. As a yoruba guy that's the only igbo politician I will gladly vote, shout about him like I did for GMB and trust me many people share my sentiments.... He is a great man and thank God he won.

Rochas performed more than Sullivan? That must be joke of the year. Rochas performances is in TV stations where he blows his trumpet. I have been to Orlu and Nkwerre recently, and I wasn't impressed, no good roads, the dusts in Nkwerre part is the worst, Orlu streets all seem to be about to be tarred, but they are not being tarred just a part of Okorocha 419, that he use to deceive the gullible.

I have been to Okigwe, the major road there, Owerri road is still a work a progress for years now,you think something is happening, but nothing is happening, Okigwe streets are all still untarred.

Nothing changed.

Even Peter obi is a better administrator than Okorocha, and the good thing about Obi is that he doesn't advertise his work. Obiano is following his footsteps now, Anambra is a big construction site, with real work going.

In bold is called baiting for votes, but it is dangerous.

As you rightly observed, Orlu streets are scrapped, about to be tarred for about three years - baiting for reelection votes .

Orlu people are supporting Rochas now partly so that he can tar the streets - there are scores of those streets that need paving and tarring. Some were even started by late Military Gov. Amadi Ikwechegh, but got abandoned immediately the governor was redeployed.

Ihedioha did not even care to campaign and make promises and issues on those roads.

Sir, I don't agree with your statement. Rochas is the most popular Igbo governor. Go to Kano and ask who Rochas is. I bet you 9 out of 10 persons there will tell you who Rochas is.
Rochas is the best Igbo governor and he performed more than Ochendo, Gov Martins Elechi and even Gov Chime Sullivan in the last 4 yrs.
I schooled in FUTO and Imo state has achieved much since Rochas took over. You obviously don't like Rochas because he left APGA and didn't support GEJ. Rochas is tactical politician and saw the future that was why he left APGA 2 yrs ago. Anyway Rochas won because of his achievements not because of his party.
Simple truth.

Congratulations to a visionary man, that could see the wind of change far ahead of his people.

You are the shining light in the midst of darkness and more power to your elbow.

All the best in your 2nd term. Do much more than you achieved in the first.

My people, My people.

DR. NNAMDI AZIKIWE WAS A CEREMONIAL PRESIDENT NOT EXECUTIVE PRESIDENT. TAFAWA BELEWA WAS THE PRIME MINISTER, WHICH WAS THE HEAD OF GOVERNMENT. ROCHAS WILL BE THE FIRST IGBO EXECUTIVE PRESIDENT

He performed small. Apparently he's much better than the guy who was there before him. But his margin of victory wasn't that wide.
Okorocha performed as a Governor & please note that the reason for about 80 something thousand difference is as a result of some Igbo leaders trying to get at him over Jonathan's defeat during the presidential elections but they have failed woefully. Rocha's I salute you as you are not a tribalist but a totally Nigerian & when the day come for Igbo's to present someone for President, I will pick Ngige or Okorocha depending on who is presented by the Igbo's but anyone outside these two great son's of the Igbo, I will never vote for & I know majority of we non Igbo's would do same in respect of party affiliation.

nnamdi azikiwe is just like a figure head....
He is not even an executive president...

The prime minister is the one in charge of nigerians affairs..

So rochas will be or maybe the first igbo executive president after buhari or it may go to someone else who maybe able and capable than rochas...

No one knows what may happen tomorow...
cos biafrans re aggrieves, ijaws re agitating while yorubas re jubilating...

only God knows what may happen?

Yea! But if we all voted for one party, your verdict will be: " Clannish, self loathing people, unsophisticated people, put all their eggs in one basket".

You have created a game where the Igbo cannot win, as you keep changing the rules and shifting the goal post to make sure he remains a villain.

Rochas doesn't have the brain power to strategize his move into becoming a President.
Moreover,if any tribe is gonna succeed Buhari in APC it's the Yoloba....Open your eyes.
If u think yorubas are that desperate for power na lie.If Rochas can carry us along we will follow. He has shown that he can rise above the hate and prejudices that is holding back ndigbo in the naija project.

Popularity can win him votes, just like it did for GMB, but he is not the best igbos can offer. I like the man, but he is not the best for Igbo presidency.

Could you please name the better candidates?

You better open your eyes. Okorocha won because he is popular. He is popular becaue of his personality and sadly because he is the best Imo has seen in a while...very sad indeed. However his track record of governance is useless:

Terrible Education standards
China roads
Nonsense beautification
unaffordable socialist policies
No new industries in a whole 4 years.

Outsiders point of view.

you don't have sense....
