an initiative which I
discovered was needed in Nigeria. One very morning I woke up
and looked around me and the next thing I felt like doing was
to log on to the social media to check if I had any
notifications. And when I checked, it was really the same
trend of friend requests, friends with different status
connoting several meanings, celebrity/non celebrity selfies,
and pictures from social events and a host of other things. I
logged out and went on twitter and it was just the routine,
traffic updates, political tweets and mentions of topical issues.
It was always from one gist to another. However after I
checked the rest of my accounts I realized we needed
something like an inspirational based network on social media
where all we do is defined. Not everyone can be a Zuckerberg,
but I believe we can make the best out of the massive idea he
created. So, I started a page on Facebook and titled it
“Inspire Nigeria Project”. And as the name connotes I really
wanted to create a network were Nigerian Youths would meet
and inspire themselves irrespective of cultural differences
social status and what have you. The response I however got in
a week made me understand the power of the social media
better. Within a week, I got over a hundred likes on the page
with people sending their hash tag selfies from different
locations. This motivated me.

We believe on a daily basis inspirational wallpapers and short clips of stories of people can inspire people. we also know the social media is the fastest tool to herald tjis initiative. This a is a sample of what we are talking about.
