I have accumulated a list of ways that you can propose to your lover creatively. I advice that only confident men use some of these approaches. Tell me what you think.

1. Propose inside the church after Mass
or other church ceremony. If you're
the religious type, go to church as you
normally do every Sunday. This time,
however, something extraordinary is in
store for her. You can even get your
friends in on the act if wished, and even
the church ministry and musicians. Ask
the preacher or the presider to include you
in the church program after the mass. This
way, the congregation stays behind, in
anticipation of what you are about to do.
You can start pitching in your romantic
message while the church musicians play
something solemn in the background.
Once you’re done, it’s now time for you to
kneel down, pull the ring out and pop the
question, “Will you marry me?”

2. Propose at the place where you first
met her. This one doesn’t need a lot
of preparation simply because the place
you’re taking her is already special by
itself. Make it simple by casually inviting
her out, don’t tell her where you’re going
but just take her there. When you’re finally
at that special place, start talking about
the time you first met. What you thought
about her, what made you like her, how
she makes you feel. Also talk about good
and difficult moments you spent with her
and how much more willing you are to go
through even more difficult times, as long
as it’s with her. It’s time to grab her
attention and to get her to focus on you,
pull out your ring and ask her what you’ve
been meaning to ask her: “Will you marry
me?”

3. Propose using an audio-visual
presentation you personally made.
Compile photos and videos of the two of
you together. Using your friendly video
editing software, make a photo montage
which includes a few video clips of you
together and burn the film on a blank DVD
CD. Tell her using the video captions just
how much she means to you. At the end
of the presentation, show the question
“Will you marry me?” in captions with a
video clip of you holding a ring.
How to approach showing it: Invite
her for a DVD marathon; make it's
realistic by preparing popcorn and
soda. Play the DVD and tell her to
just sit back and relax. Of course,
she’ll be surprised at what she’ll see,
never utter a word and just tell her to
continue watching. At the time right
before your question pops out on
screen, prepare the ring. When the
question is flashed on the screen,
with the right timing as she turn her
head to you, pull out the ring and ask
her again, “Will you?”

4. Propose in a nicely set-up hotel
room. This one requires a special
occasion, maybe her birthday or your
birthday; or it could be your anniversary or
any other special date that you guys
celebrate together. Call or text her on the
phone and tell her that you arranged a
hotel reservation for the two of you.
Inform her what time she needs to be
there and give her the hotel room number
– leave the door unlocked so she can just
walk in. Before she comes, arrange
everything – soft, sweet music playing in
the background, a trail of scattered rose
petals leading to the balcony and a table
for two with champagne and strawberries.
When she’s finally standing at that very
spot, say a few words about what’s
happening, take a few steps towards her
while pulling out the ring from your
pocket, kneel down, take her hand and ask
her, “Will you give me the honor of being
your husband?”

5. Propose using a scavenger hunt
game. A scavenger game is sort of a
treasure hunting game with map, clues,
and all. You can plan a game like this and
make her play it. You can also include
your friends and tell them all about your
plan so they can cooperate with you. It
doesn’t have to be on a special occasion;
just tell her it’s a weekend activity which
you think would be fun to do together.
Don’t make the questions too difficult so
you won’t be waiting too long at the other
end. While she’s out going all over the
place, you can prepare the end spot. It
can be at the beach, in a restaurant, a
hotel room or anywhere you fancy. When
she’s finally found you using the map,
clues and hints you gave her, give her a
reward she’ll never forget – hand her a
small box with a ring inside. She’ll be
asking “Is this what I think it is?” That’s
you cue to start kneeling down and ask
her your question.
A variation to this can be a
geocaching exercise where the ring
is hidden somewhere safe and she
has to follow all the clues.

6. Propose using an aerial banner. An
aerial banner, ad or message is a
long streamer attached to the back of an
airplane. These can be seen at beaches,
athletic events and/or open areas. Contact
an aerial advertising company and pitch-in
your idea to them. They will be glad to
help you plan the whole thing. All you will
need to do now is to take her to that
special place. With the right timing,
kneeling down or standing up, take her
hand and ask your question.

7. Propose during half-time game. All
you need is your favorite game, a
field, a ring and a few inside connections.
Take her to watch your favorite game. It
can be anything from baseball to football.
During the half-time break, instead of
showing an intermission number or after
an intermission number, ask if you can
have at least five minutes of their time.
After making the arrangements, all you
need to do is prepare a short speech and
gather a lot of courage to pop the
question, “Will you marry me?”

8. Propose on live television. There are
a number of TV shows and games
out there and you can be sure that most
of them will be more than willing to
participate as this will add drama to their
show. The easiest would be to join a game
show. Of course, you won’t really be
joining for the pot money. Before going on,
talk to the host backstage to give you at
least three minutes to make your speech.
Win or lose the game, you still get the girl!

9. Propose during breakfast in bed. This
one is great for a weekend away or a
weekend when she stays over. This
approach won't suit everyone (it depends
on whether you're already sharing intimacy
or not) but it can be a lovely way to wake
up! The key to a successful wedding
proposal is the element of surprise, so
avoid giving out hints about your plan of
proposing.
Get out of bed early before she does,
fix a lovely breakfast for her.
Make it look special by adding a rose
and maybe scattering a few petals in
the bed and getting everything ready
just before she wakes up.
When she’s up, she’ll be wondering
what the special occasion is. That’s
your cue to start telling her how
special she is while you slowly kneel
down on the floor beside the bed,
open that small special box and ask
her your question, “Will you marry
me?”

10. Propose while announcing a
holiday you have paid for as a
surprise. Take her somewhere which has a
lot of sentimental value or a romantic
place, perfect for her (remember its about
her happiness not yours). Once you have
surprised her with her holiday give her, her
ticket, but not the real one. Have a fake
ticket with the words "will you marry me"
typed on them, or just write the words on
an old ticket.

I keep wondering why ladies have to be proposed to. The two, since they are in a relationship should go ahead and plan their wedding instead of visiting a place or planning a sort big surprise in order to propose. I believe that the ultimate reason for agreeing to a relationship is marriage. I find it weird and amusing.

The same thing answers the question of why you have to keep impressing your wife. Aren't you already married? Exactly!

I wouldn't propose to any lady if I wasn't sure she'd say yes but I would still propose. In fact possibly before hundreds of people. Why? To make her feel special. It's all due to a little thing called ROMANCE.
