Do You Really Think World Powers Are Behind Backwardness Of Africa?? by mioranyan(m): 12:25am On Apr 14, 2015
saw this intersting topic and thought to bring it here, a poll is currently going on as regards it :

First of all let me explain what is meant by conspiracy theory. According to wikipedia; A conspiracy theory is an explanatory proposition
that accuses two or more persons, a group, or an
organization of having caused or covered up,
through secret planning and deliberate action, an
illegal or harmful event or situation.

Now to the conspiracy theory involving the West( United states and western Europe) and Africa. Many are of the opinion that the West is the cause of all the mischiefs (from civil wars to diseases epidemic to civil unrests to coup plotting and so on) befalling the African continent as a whole.

The next thing you may want to ask is why would the West want to cause mischief for Africa? It is being argued that Africa being the treasure base of the world (there is almost no major natural resources/key raw materials not found in Africa). Hence, the West in the quest to have unlimited and almost free of charges access to these resources needs to cause constant rumble on the continent to keep Africa down and underdeveloped and thereby not able to maximise her potentials to emerge as super power.

Another question to ask now is, is it the West that told African leaders to be greedy and corrupt? Or is it the West that told Africans so resent themselves thereby using genocides and civil wars to try and exterminate hated tribes? Supporters of the conspiracy theory believe that the West actually uses the weak spot of Africans to their own advantage.

No! African leaders past and present caused the backwardness of Africa and even the world. Every other part of the world is doing something while Africa is fighting unnecessary fights.

As long as Africa keeps playing the routine games designed by the world powers who also stem from the destructive colonial powers, then africa will be at risk of exploitation just as it was in colonial days... What is wrong with africa defining its own ways? Government models, economic models and so on? But no, more in fighting is the main focus within the models implanted by the outside world which conflicts much with traditinal heritage ways that remain in the core of many people's mannerisms there...

Africans adopt world ways but it is mashed up with african culture ways and creates conflict... African culture is very heirarchy oriented with peoples station in life limited or enhanced by heritage and divine input... But world ways are somewhat different and allow for competition between every class for wealth, education and political power... But in africa, wealth and political power are most easily monopolized by the interest of people from a traditional heritage of power, new comers have to be approved by the traditional leaders... The world ways encourage grabbing as much as one can and that happens in africa as well as the world over...
It is just that Africa's poverty is more pronounced because if being behind in modern development... Modern developments and politics have also created a new form of poverty called abject poverty... Modern rules and regulations and borders and boundries and law enforcement of such, do extreme limitations to the most disadvantaged.. When famine hits one region, people cannot migrate freely to other regions any more without question and resistance, because it has all been carved into militarized nations who enforce separation and restrictions upon use of their land and resources...

Now all of every where is somebody's private land or estate or farm of commercial compound or business and government district that only welcomes its servants or workers... So when you are jobless ,are poor and starving, its even harder than in traditional days.. Abject poverty is enhanced by the modern world ways and africa does bear a significant burden of such...
There is a limit to world ways, only so much can be mined and so mch can be grown and so much population can be comfortable and so mch rubbish be thrown onto the land, before it is all too much for the earth to carry and keep our survival intact...
When that day comes, Africa will not be in line of the finger pointing to who led the world to the breaking point with modern development..
Already millions die each year from bad air caused by modern developments, poision in the water and land kills, advanced weapons and complications from advancements in medicine that unexpectedly introduce more voraicious diseases...

It wont make a difference what conspiracy games the world powers are playing to secure themselves at the expense of Africa.. They want to remain at the top at all cost... Eventually the cost will be so great for all the world and the world powers will be everybody's focus of disappointment...
I will go now and tend to my lung problems and hope i can see better days where my lungs find ease without the constant irritation from motor fumes and other fumes from synthetic products released into the air.. And thats aside from the bad headaches that come from polluted environments...
