I don't think any culture still allows women dress this way though. If they insist on culture, I am not sure my love is that strong to allow such.

we do similar thing in my hometown but it is not wedding but initiation to womanhood. every lady born of that town (in as far as both parent are from there)must do it. even if you are staying abroad, if you get to a particular age you will brought home for it.
