The president couldn't have won the election even with 100% votes from the south south and south east. Kano state has more than 4 million PVC collections. I was expecting up to 3 million votes for Buhari and was disappointed when only about 50% turned up for the election and voted 1.9 million for Buhari and 215 thousand for Jonathan.

Dakuku is right. Amaechi had already warned about 2 weeks to the elections that President Jonathan and his wife were going to use Ateke Tom, the Army and Police against APC adherents during the elections. His only miscalculation was that he thought Jega would be bold enough to cancel the elections outrightly. The good thing is that APC won the central government and as such PDP won't have control of the judiciary or the military during the re-done elections (because the fiasco of an electoral process will be annulled).
