You're the greatest problem to your destiny. Give us one line in kashamu's report that is related in any form to Tinubu. Your hatred for tinubu will ultimately lead to your downfall. Tinubu is loved by many and an important political leader of the yoruba race. I don't know you nor where you are from and am not too keen on knowing. Please leave tinubu out of it all.

As for kashamu, if he has been exonerated by a competent court of law anywhere in the world on the basis of facts and evidence then he should be accepted as an innocent fellow. All we need do is to watch and see how he would cope now without the backing of the govt.in power. There are lots of issues begging to be attended to in this country but surely not kashamu and his extradition matters.

Tinubu dont have any drug case on him. most people confused tinubu with buruji Kashamu because obj said a leader in SW has a drug case in the US. OBJ was referring to buruji and not tinubu. Tinubu travel to the us regularly if tinubu was a drug baron he would have been arrested, convicted and deported from the US

I still remember that James Ibori was exonerated in Nigeria but went to London to be indicted. In lieu of this, you may be exonerated in Britain but go to USA and be indicted for wrong doing. OBJ has said, he would pay your fare, can you please meet him for arrangement.

Sleaze bag or not; let the US go about it the way of extradition. I am well aware of the Chicago connection and Nigerian drug cartels though.

The other thing is, the surest way of proving he's the one they are looking for is to prove his brother died before 1994.

Tinubu HAD a drug case in the Northern IL court in Chicago. He was tried and sentenced. He paid fines and agreed to forfeit his proceeds from drug biz.

exactly!

he has very, very, very good lawyers.

i was impressed with this his press release. it was obviously drafted by his lawyers. If one is not careful, one would think he is innocent and he is only being hunted unfairly by the US government. however, read between the lies and you can see guilt wrritten all over the guys.

he is the one wanted by the US government. he was only lucky to get off the hook years ago in UK (most likely thanks to his good lawyers) but i dont see him escaping this time around.

a trip to UK alone right now and he will be arrested at the airport. if he is US bound, he will be arrested on the aircraft grin

Story Story, story!

1. Buruji Kashamu, is that generally Yoruba name or Ijebu name, Ijegba name, Ijegbo name, Ijenupe, Ijekanuri?
2. What is your name at birth as used in your primary school.
3. At what point did your name become Buruji Kashamu.
4. What is the surname of your father, your uncle and siblings.
5. Identify another kinsman from your town/village bearing Kashamu

Answer these correctly and I'd sing ''Story for the Gods'' with you otherwise, just voluntarily resign from the senate and beg Baba for forgiveness.

This man is a certified criminal, his name is even the surest proof.
No Yoruba true - born bears Buruji Kashamu, Buruji and Kashamu are accolades of a rich man.
His real name is Alhaji Esho Jinadu, biggest drug Lord in Benin Republic.
He ventured into politics to launder his wealth and provide cover for himself.
He doesn't even need to visit the USA, a trip to Walter Carrington@ V.I. will do.

True but you are also wrong, his real name cannot be Esho Jinadu. Esho Jinadu is one of the aliases he used in some of his nefarious activities. Esho Jinadu in Yoruba contemporary folk-lore is a man that is dandy, fashionable and trendy. Perhaps, the real man called Esho Jinadu may have lived in the distant past, distant from the generation of this accused.

I saw this and found it interesting...Esho Jinadu Aka Prince Buruji Kashamu originally born in the late 50s to Alhaja Jinadu is a MAN who now claims his deceased older brother's identity, Buruji . According to reports, he originated from Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, Nigeria. He has several baby mothers one of which is the popular Rosula and children. He is now fond of denying his old identity by ignoring people who know his roots.Meanwhile, he claims to be a Muslim but eextremely diabolical..
Esho started as a vehicle licensing Tout at the Lagos Mainland Local Government during the years 1978-1983 with the likes of Babs, Sir K, Kunle Enilolobo, Late Mohammed Oladapo, e.t.c.. The first proceeds earned him enough to be introduced to Illicit substances and Money Counterfeit, in which he used Jinsod Motors on Allen Avenue Ikeja to front for his illegitimate drug dealings. This went for a while until he was nabbed by the Nigerian Customs alongside his brother the Real ''Buruji''. His brother Buruji was locked up at the popular Alagbon while he was held at the Customs ware house Ilupeju.

He made a daring escape with the help of Dupe, The daughter of the Owner of Naira Pools (one of the pioneer betting companies in Nigeria) and fled to Republic of Benin. While on exile in Benin, he was able to expand his Illicit network with the help of Cali Cartel Drug Lords of Columbia where he amassed so much funds from the export of drugs to America mainly Chicago from which he was able to fund a Presidential aspirant who eventually won. With his access to the Presidency, he successfully defrauded the country where he is still wanted for his atrocities. At that time, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Corruption in West Africa and DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency USA) had linked and declared him wanted for enormous drug trafficking charges, Money Laundering and Murder. He was detained at the famous Wormwood scrubs prisons in UK for several years where he fought extradition to the USA extensively and lost. He eventually absconded to Nigeria while on bail and has since been unable to step out of the shores of Nigeria....

Some of the assertions over there are not exactly tallying with what I got from SR:

http://saharareporters.com/2010/01/07/why-us-government-after-%E2%80%9Cogun-state-newest-political-godfather%E2%80%9D-buruji-kashamu

Both Catherine Wolters and Fillmore had, prior to Kashamu’s December 18, 1998 arrest, identified a photograph of Kashamu from a photospread as the person whom they knew to be in charge of the heroin smuggling organization. The case agents referred to the photograph of Kashamu as the “surveillance” photograph because the agents believed at the time that overseas law enforcement officers had taken the photograph while on surveillance. The government obtained a copy of Kashamu’s December 18, 1998 arrest photograph and placed it into a photospread The government showed Fillmore this second photospread at some point after Kashamu’s arrest and before transmitting the extradition paperwork to DOJ OIA. Kashamu’s arrest photograph appeared in Position 7 of the photospread.

As Fillmore viewed the arrest photospread, Fillmore stated “it’s not jumping out at me” and that he knew what “Alaji” looked like. Fillmore told the agents that the photograph in Position 3 looked like a bad photograph of “Alaji” and that the photographs in Positions 2,4,6, and 7 did not look like “Alaji” at all. Fillmore stated that the photograph in Position 5 looked a lot like “Alaji” but also did not look like him. Fillmore ruled out the photograph in Position 1 and stated that the photograph in Position 5 looked the closest to “Alaji.”

On January 10, 2003, Magistrate Workman issued his final decision in the second extradition proceeding. Magistrate Workman found, among other things, that: (1) Kashamu had a similar-looking brother; (2) Kashamu was an informant for Interpol in Benin and Togo and for the NDLEA in Nigeria; and (3) Kashamu’s brother was not killed in 1989 by Nigerian Customs officials.
Magistrate Workman then turned to the question of the government’s alleged misconduct and whether the United States had abused the extradition process. The judge noted that he found certain government assertions to be untrue, particularly the position that Kashamu was not an informant, but that, despite these findings, the government had not abused the process. Magistrate Workman held as follows:

“If the Government was aware of that fact [that Kashamu was an informant] and persisted in putting forward such untruthful evidence, it would plainly be evidence to support an abuse of process submission. However, the evidence emanates from an Agency in Nigeria over which the American Government has no authority. It is then passed to America and then to this country and I cannot be satisfied that it was probable that the Government knew that evidence was false. Although I, and no doubt any trial judge, will be concerned at the lack of care by the United States prosecuting authorities in examining and testing this evidence, I am unable to conclude that the Defence have demonstrated that this was probably done with the knowledge of the United States Government. In those circumstances I do not find there has been an abuse of process”. Id. at 8.

Magistrate Workman next addressed in his opinion whether there was a prima facie case for extradition. The judge reiterated his finding that Kashamu had a brother who bore a “striking resemblance” to him and noted that he was satisfied that the brother was the co-conspirator in the instant case. Id. Magistrate Workman acknowledged that he was “mindful” that the matter of the credibility of the identification witnesses “should essentially remain a matter for a jury.” Id.
Magistrate Workman concluded, however, that he was “satisfied that the overwhelming evidence here is such that the identification evidence, already tenuous, has now been so undermined as to make it incredible and valueless. In those circumstances there is then no prima facie case against the defendant and I propose to discharge him.” Id. at 10. The second extradition proceeding against Kashamu was thereby concluded and Kashamu was released from custody.
