Those properties were NOT built with Lagos State money.

Those properties were built with oil proceeds and do NOT belong to Lagos State!

Lagos state WILL also take over the national stadium and theatre STOP this if you can.

Nonesense!

The properties will be reverted back to the original owners- Nigeria.

The properties will be auctioned off in a transparent bidding process and the monies accrued shared among all states!

You afonja rats have been subsidized for too long.

And this one will be foaming in the mouth shouting Atiku wants to sell NNPC

FYI, the State House Marina that Buhari gifted to Lagos State has already been sold to a private firm

When this thread was created in 2015, Afonias were defending the sale of govt assets

Now that Atiku has said he will sell off NNPC because it is a conduit of corruption , same oyorubas will be calling for his head

I have never seen such hypocrites in my life

Tinubu has also highlighted his interest in managing the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS.

In a paper delivered on behalf of Buhari by Fayemi in Lagos while addressing the Business community:

So expect Alpha Beta to go National and Tinubu to be paid a commission on all Federal taxed revenue.

Facts!

See the blatant hypocrisy of afonjas on display in this thread.

They are supporting the sale of FG assets to Tinubu but are the ones screaming against Jonathan's privatisation of the distribution sector of PHCN and also Atiku's plan to unbundle and sell off NNPC.

Bloody hypocrites

This is a 7y old thread

I posted this even before Buhari was sworn in.

Has buhari not gifted National Theatre and the National Stadium to Tinubu via Lagos State?

There will be mounted pressure on the Buhari administration to sell off FG owned assests in Lagos to meet up on the low federal purse.

This off course is all geared towards ensuring that these assests end up under the ever increasing empire of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Obviously other heavy weights from other regions and state who contributed to the Buhari candidacy will be concentrating on other juicy appointments and portfolios but knowing the ever shrewd B.A.T. , it should be expected that he will lobby for these FG assests to be sold to him. Which is brilliant by the way and serves to further consolidate Tinubu's tittle as the "Landlord of Lagos".

Part of the historical assests Tinubu will be lobbying for are:

The Federal Secretariat, Ikoyi.

National Stadium, Surulere.

National Theatre, Iganmu ( via concession. This national edifice sits on a large swath of swampy land that Tinubu wants to develop. Securing a concession on this grounds will also see BAT develop prime real estate mainly as a rival to downtown Lagos Island business district).

Tafawa Belawa Square, Obalende and the surrounding old racecourse and cricket grounds.

Complete bunkum.
