Arsenal host West Ham United at the Emirates this Saturday at 15.00 GMT (4pm Nigerian time).

Arsenal retained their 5th position on the table after a 1 - 1 draw against Everton on Wednesday. The Gunners put up an average performance,less than average to some for a team of their supposed class, during their Wednesday night game. Some blame it on the absence of Skipper Cesc.  .  .some blame it on the absence of suitably skilled players in key positions, aggravated by the gaffer's seeming unwillingness to make new top-class additions to the team.
The deal with Zenit player Arshavin is yet to be concluded.
   With the injured players still out, there's quite a lot for both fans and club to worry about. A win will put them closer to A.Villa, but still in 5th position.

West Ham United have been doing well of late, winning their last Prem game against Hull with a 2 - 0 scoreline. A win will see them leap-frogging Wigan to  occupy 7th position on the table.
Striker Carlton Cole who is in top form believes himself and his teammates can put a good deal of pressure on the Gunners.

Arsenal's got the home advantage yeah,but they're so erratic that a win is not certain.  .  .

West Ham are going to play a tight game and are currently in good form at the moment. What we need to do is prevent the runs of their full backs and hold up Carlton Cole from creating space for himself. I'd go for the same squad that played the Toffees on Wednesday probably shuffle only the centre backs bringing in Toure for Gallas.

Defensively, I think we were solid and I don't think West Ham created much of a threat to Arsenal. Their long balls were well cut out and Carlton Cole cut a rather lonely figure up front without the usual pace and trickery of Bellamy who's gone of to City.

On the offense, I think the major issue was the lack of creativity in the Final third. We won most of the 50-50s pushed forward to Bendtner on the right and yet couldn't quite kill the game off despite our long periods of posession. Ade was guilty on several occasions of being a little to casual on the ball while Bendtner in my own opinion had a great game despite being taken off.

I think we should start the Tottenham game the way we ended this one with Nasri on the right, Van Persie wide left with Song and Denilson in the middle of the Park. Diaby is suspended and with Eboue injured. We might just have to play Bendtner upfront with Ade unless Arsene decides to give a derby day debut to Arshavin, if he indeed signs.
