Firstly, Gotham wasn't cancelled.

Secondly, Netflix is a streaming service and Fox is a TV network (broadcasting) service. Difference being Netflix marvel shows like Daredevil, Luke cage, Jessica Jones, the punisher etc are produced by marvel television and ABC (Disney owned TV network) but are distributed by Netflix after a deal with Disney had been made. So your putting 2 and 2 together is pointless.

Thirdly, Fox don't have to air the show it is already in their gallery, there is something as having a sophisticated movie library.

Why is it ending all of a sudden when initially they had a 10yr plan for the series? Ever heard of the tvshow Timeless? Go browse abt it. The show was canceled but was brought bk to air 2 epis0des so the storyline could be c0mpleted. Same with gotham that had only 10 episodes greenlit to c0nclude the story.

You do know there is a difference between ending a TV show and cancelling it? Like someone once told me (Thekingishere) what was officially stated?

Gotham is at the season finale. No matter what you say it was officially written as season finale.

He was expected to be in Shazam, let's not forget that. WB has plans for Superman in the movies because James Gunn was given either MOS or SS to direct. Their problem is with Cavill.
