All of a sudden, America has become our friend abi? A country that preferred all of us dead to ebola? A country that preferred Boko Haram killing Nigerians en mass rather than help our govt fight terrorism. I weep 4 Nigerians citing America for any reason whatsoever. to hell with America 1 Like |

They have got the Puppet President they wanted, let them not complicate the problems in Nigeria. Jonathan's wife is an ordinary citizen, not elected by anybody, so her statement is irrelevant. We know, but they may not know how the election was won by blackmail of Nigerians with use of BH violence and kidnap of Chibok girls as campaign instruments to make Nigerians vote out Jonathan. |

I am sure the Oba of Lagos city will be barred from many foreign countries too. He instigated his tribesmen to throw people into the sea if they didn't vote a particular way. |

Mogidi: Guess why the US media continued to blast Jonathan - they wanted a Puppet president for Nigeria who they shall tell sign, and he signs, even without looking at the heading - campaigning against Jonathan, they said that Nigeria had no government under Jonathan; they refused to sell arms to Jonathan government under the pretext that the arms would be misused by NA or get to the hands of BH people; they re-branded a once coup plotter as a no nonsense general - imagine that from the US that detests any soldier that ousted a democratically-elected government; their press even declared Buhari winner even before the election was conducted; their ambassador came to INEC central counting centre and sensing that Buhari was winning, he declared the election most advanced and fair, as he said that the PVC card reading technology was yet to be available to the US; imagine a technology that Nigeria can have before the US. Alas, Nigeria got a president Buhari mostly elected by an ill-informed talakawas. 1 Like 1 Share |

This is biased journalism. The U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs did not mention any names. It's Premium Times that has assumed the PDP members comments and this is wrong and sending the wrong message! Even worse most commentators on Nairaland here have failed to see or mention this!, but ready to make judgements. SMH |

Everyday that passes by I hate Americans the more. They are hypocrites! I urge Nigerians to ignore them as they are angry that PDP did not get stupid like APC and give them what they wanted. Even if Nigeria will dis-integrate which seems most likely given the Igbofobia in Nigeria, it will be on our terms and not theirs. |

Raiders:Americans piss me off. They claim to be the greatest but they have never proven it. They can't go to war with any strong country alone without looking for allies. They went to Vietnam and lost the war. Without the allied forces they cannot stand Russia or China. I have never been to the US and I do not think I will ever want to go there. |
