She is a trained linguist, an actress, a director and a lecturer. She has trained many nollywood actors and actresses and has contributed to the Nigerian community in her own way.


Dr. Taye Comfort ARAYELA (Formerly: Awoyemi) was recently diagnosed to have kidney disease in the United Kingdom (UK) during a family vacation to the UK.

Her present health condition requires a kidney transplant in order to save her life. Before her sickness, she was a Senior lecturer of African Dramatic Literature and she has lectured at reputable Universities in Nigeria. Most of her students see her as a mentor, some as a mother, others as both. She finds happiness in helping people around her irrespective of whether she knows them personally or not, their religion or background, she accomodated them all. She is a modest, kind-hearted,supportive, humble, talented and down to earth person. She is a motivator and an encourager, a fighter of truth and justice, an advocate for the less privileged, a wonderful single mother of one, who is full of life and optimistic even in the worst of situations and a good stage director and actress. Her dream is to one day become a Professor and helping to save her life will be helping to save her dream from dieing.

we lost her and that drove me to tears.......i just hope the rich in Nigeria will learn to spend their money on things that has noble course than all these private jets and fancy cars.........we need more service driven NGOs and foundations.........God will be with my sweet friend and sister(her daughter) and all the other members of the family
