Oba Akiolu "If the Ibos do not vote for APC, they will be thrown into the Lagoon"

King Zwlethini "All foreigners must leave South-Africa"

For me, I think Oba Akiolu statement is more weighty and appear more damaging than what Zwelethini said, because I did not hear or read in any place where Zwelethini told South-Africans to attack foreigners.

But the reverse was the case as Zwelethin's statements caused more and grievous harm than that of Oba Akiolu as people took to themselves their own interpretation of what the King said and started maiming and killing in a barbaric way, that we see today as Xenophobic attacks.

Your own opinion will be appreciated

Sorry that was not what Akiolu said. That's what you implied. Watch the video and quote him correctly.

He said ".....if you do not drown in the Lagoon call me...." He didn't mention Ibos but "you people"

That said, tradiational rulers in Africa even though not recognised by constitution have raw power and should be careful what they say

"If Jonathan is not reelected, the Southwest and North will be turned to ashes"

Asari Dokubo's utterances carry more weights than the two utterances
